It was like every other day. It was ligthly raining, like a misty shower. You were on your way back to your college dorm from the local cat café. Fall was your favorite season. Y/n loved wearing cute outfits, going to cafés, y/n also loved listening to music, especially on walks. Y/n was just about to walk past her favorite bookstore ever. She visited it every day, and since today was like every other day, she went inside. The bell rang like it did every time someone opened the door, even though most of the time y/n was the only one there.•Y/n's pov•
I walked into the store, then I went into the back to greet Walter. Walter is like a grandfather to me. He is really old, but really wise. «Hi Walter! How Are you? I brought you a sugar mint cookie from the bakery, your favorite!» Walter didn't hear me coming in the store because he was busy going through his wife's old stuff. «Oh hello sweetheart, I didn't notice you! I'm good, thank you. And you didn't have to do that!» He smiled, probably for the first time in a while. His wife recently passed, so I made sure to bring him something from the bakery every day, just to cheer him up. «Good to hear, do you have any new books for me?» I asked in hopes that he had better book reccomendations this time. «Yes, I do. I am afraid that you wont like it thought, but it's on shelf 22A.» He said hoping I would like it. «Alrightie, I'll take a look.» I went over to the shelf and took the book. «I Also have a suprise for you, it is coming in later today, so stay for a while sweetheart!» He said from the back. «Okay Walter, I'll take a seat and skim through the book!» I exclaimed, I was mostly staying for the suprise though. I threw a sight down to see who the author was. «H/n? Not my favorite author, like not at all, but I guess I could always skim through it.» I mumbled. The book was suprisingly good, but I knew what would happen later in the book. I couldn't stop reading, I was sucked into the book. While I was in my own world, someone went through the door and into Walters office. I heard Walter talking to someone, so I went onto my phone to turn off the music and to check the time. «19:37» I read off my lockscreen. I had a picture of me, Walter and Walter's wife, Marybeth. I put my AirPods in my bag and stood on my tippy-toes to put the book back. «The author isn't that good at writing. Better than me, but still...» I mumbled to myself while rolling my eyes just a little. «You don't like the author?» A super handsome voice asked. «F*cking hell! You scared me!» I exclaimed. I turned around to be almost frightened by the handsome man standing in front of me. My jaw dropped. «Sorry mi amor, But please tell me why you don't like the author, I'm curious!» He said in the most handsome voice ever. «Uhm yeah so... uh- it's just that at the end of every damn book there is a cliffhanger, I'm sure he's handsome and everything but he just doesn't finish his books which really annoys m-» I zoomed through my opinion like I was Eminem. «Shh mi amor. First of all, Thank you, I am indeed handsome if I have to say it myself, second of all, I have to go now, but I'll take your advice.» He said and ran out of the store saying goodbye to Walter, with the book in his hand. My jaw was on the floor, actually, it was going through the floor. «Holy shit, he was the author?...» I said loudly. I grabbed my bag and went into the back, just to say goodbye to Walter. «Bye bye wall-e» I told him. «Who's wall-e?» He asked, looking like a questionmark. «Hm, It's just this movie character, It's your new nickname!» I said almost tearing up, because I knew for a fact that Wall-e was a lonely movie character, Just like Walter was. Lonely. «Alright, bye-bye sweetheart!» He said while I walked backwards out waving at him. It was pouring down outside, and I would normally run back to my dorm, but I was over the moon because of the hot man from the bookstore, so I took off my jacket and started jumping in puddles of rain, span around and greeted everyone I met happily. When I got back I noticed something in my bag...
