that one avenger (thor x reader)

𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟯

We all hear a crash and look up. A guy in a red and black suit falls into the lab and lands with a thud. He stands up. "If you're sad about summer being over and school beginning," he shouts and turns with his back to us, "don't be. Because when summer ends," he turns to us with a big smile, "Christmas is only beginning!" Reina knows exactly what to do in this moment. She throws him out the window.

That's not true. She starts blasting 'All I Want For Christmas is You' by Mariah Carey. We both do a little dance. He starts bursting out laughing while I am still busting out moves. I look over to the team and Tony is sitting down with his hand covering his face. "You look like you aren't enjoying this, Mr. Stark!" He sighs, "I didn't think you and Peter would be so alike." 

"You're Peter Parker!?" I shout over the music. Reina lowers the song down so we can speak normally. "The one and only! Actually, no. There are two more." I look at him confused for a bit, but then realize that there could be other people with the exact name. "Anyways, they said that I could live on your floor." "No way! Really?" Peter looks over to Mr. Stark and he nods his head. "I have to show you right now!" He looks super excited so I follow him up the steps and into the elevator. "Wait, I didn't catch your name," he looks at me kindly. "Y/n." I finish for him. "That's a really pretty name. What's your favorite movie?" "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith," I said excitedly. We walk out of the elevator and he jumps up and down. I have no idea why he's doing that, but I start the jumps too.

"Oh, wait." Peter stops bouncing, "I have to show you your room! Then, we should have a Star Wars marathon." 

"Of course! I think that I should just get a bit settled in."

He leads me to my new room which is right next to his. I unlock the door with my new ID card and open it. 

"Wow," I breathe as soon as I see it.

The room is neutral off-white with oak-colored vinyl wood flooring. One side of the room is completely windows, looking out among the city. Before walking to the queen bed, I take off my shoes and set them on top of the shelf in the entryway. The floor feels nice on my covered feet, and when I step on the Persian rug, it feels even better. A white ruched duvet cover drapes across my new bed, with matching pillow covers. Two white, ribbed, daisy-shaped pillows lay on top of each other. Two abstract sidetables are at either side of the queen bed. One pastel pink and one sage green. A small, round, cream loveseat sits at the edge of my bed. It's slender legs matching the color of the floor. Keeping the rounded theme going, a circular, wooden coffee table with a rattan base is in front of the loveseat. 

I turn around and see a wall covered in wide, glossy, white doors. None of them have a handle, making them seamless, but also making them hard to use. 

I struggle for a bit until I hear a woman say, "You push them and then they open." 

I look around and see Wanda and Nat standing next to Peter. "How do you like your new room?" she asks. 

"It's perfect. Who designed it?" "Technically, Tony designed the whole tower, but if you're asking who put decorated it, Wanda and I did."

"That's amazing! Thank you guys so much. I like that you stuck with the neutrals." They both nod their heads as I finally open the closet. 

Inside of one of the four sections, there are shelves evenly spaced out and I assume they are for shoes or bags. I open a second section and it's the same thing. The third section is different. It has two racks, one on top and one on the bottom. This is the same in the fourth part so I guess they are for regular clothes. 

On the wall that I haven't talked about, there is a large glass door leading to a bathroom, two tall bookshelves, and a slim-looking dresser with a TV on it. 

Suddenly, we are interrupted by Reina's voice. "Hello, ma'am. I've successfully connected to your room. Let me know if you need anything."

"Thank you, Reina. Nothing at the moment."

I look back at my new friends and Peter looks quite surprised. "Her AI. Like Jarvis," Wanda says to him and he nods.

I open the door to the bathroom and am met by a long, double-sinked, floating, wooden vanity. I turn and see a free-standing tub parallel to the wall of windows. 

"Woah."

On the other side of the vanity, a shower and a toilet. Glass panes cover the front of it and glossy white tiles lay horizontally on the inside. To finish it off, there is a rain showerhead as well as a regular one.

"Mr. Stark didn't have to do all of this." 

"But would I be Tony Stark if I didn't?" His voice interrupts us as the second voice today.

I turn around and see him standing against the wall with one leg bent. I run up and hug him and thank him for all of the wonderful things he has done for me since I got here today. He says that it was the least he could do and told me that I'll have new Stark technology delivered to my door later today. Then, everyone leaves me in peace with Nat and Wanda saying that they will take me shopping at three.

I go back into my room and pull out my phone. I text my brother pictures of my room and tell him all about my day. We FaceTime each other and I give him a full room tour. He gasps at everything and then he tells me about his own day. His classes at MIT are going well and I help him with some of his science homework which seems to be his weakest point, but he still does well in it anyway.

I hear a knock on my door, and I say bye to him. I jump off of my new bed and open the door to see Wanda and Natasha again. 

"Are you ready to go shopping?" Nat says while holding up a credit card. I nod and grab my beat-up Nike's.

hi people! soooo ive been putting this book off bc i really didnt like how i set it up. and i didnt feel like changing it. so today, i decided if youve hit rock bottom, theres no way but up!  idk i guess i was bored of doing ap euro homework :/ anyways... i had fun writing the last part of this 👍 also, i've been watching the new season of dancing with the stars. good morning, afternoon, or night wherever you are - cutie 🌿
