It was the finally pitch. If Bruce hit this pitch he would win the game. I was waiting full of anticipation and all of a sudden I hear a smack. The ball goes flying and lands over the fence Bruce runs the bases and wins the game. I saw Bruce and Finn talking and so I went to the other side of the Fence to get the ball. I grabbed the ball and put it in my pocket and started to walk back when in the corner of my eyes I see a man fall out of his van. He grunted and started yelling for help. "I think I broke my leg please someone help!" He screamed out in pain. I ran over to him to help. If I would have know what was coming I never would have gone over. "Are you ok?" I said as I ran over to the man. I helped him up and asked again. "Are you ok." I ask one more time concerned. "Yea I'm fine." That's the last thing I remember before he had grabbed me and sprayed something into my mouth and that's when everything went dark. When I woke up I was in a weird room on a dirty mattress. I sat up and groaned my head was throbbing. I stood up and started examining the room. I saw the door and started banging on it. "Let me out you sick freak!" I yelled out before punching the door. "Damn it!" I grabbed my hand in pain. That's when I heard the lock on the door start to open. I walked away from the door and waited. That's when I saw a man in a mask come in with someone in his arms. He laid him down on the mattress before saying "Enjoy your new room mate." Then he walked out leaving me with the boy. I walked over to look closer and it was Bruce. "Bruce, Bruce!" I yelled and started to try and shake him awake. I saw his eyes flutter open and he looked at me. "Oh thank god." I said and pulled him into me. "You scared me." I said brushing his hair out of his face. He sat up and started asking questions. "Where are we?" He asked looking around. "I don't know." I said. He cupped my face and said "We're gonna be ok." "I'm gonna get you out of here." He said and started to look around. He went up to the door and noticed it was unlocked? How stupid could this guy be to leave the door unlocked. "Bruce it could be a trap." I said getting worried. "If it could get you out I'll take my chances." He said and started to open the door. "You stay here I don't want you to get hurt. He said looking at me. He went out the door and I didn't here anything else. "I started banging on the door. "Bruce?" I yelled worried. I knew something was wrong he wouldn't just leave me like that. I slide down the door and started sobbing. After a few minutes I heard the door start to open. I ran down the stairs. To see the man carrying Bruce. "What did you do?" I sobbed out at him. He ignored me and threw Bruce on the bed. "Naughty boys need taught a lesson." That's all he said before leaving the room. "Bruce!" I yelled and ran over to him. I grabbed his head and put it on my lap. I saw his eyes slowly flutter open. I smiled a little thinking he was ok. "Listen." He said barley managing to speak. "If I die I need you to get out I need you to live how I would have wanted." I need you to be happy." Please know that I love you so much." He said tears flowing down his face. "Please leave me a place next to you in your bed." "That way if you have a nightmare you know I'm there beside you." I started sobbing. "No matter what I'll always be there for you." "I love you so much." He choked out. "I love you too please don't go please." I sobbed still stroking his hair. That's when my world came crashing down. He died in my arms. I wiped away his tears and kissed his cheek. "I love you." I said one finally time before putting his head back on the mattress. I stood up and knew what was about to happen. I was gonna kill this freak. I came up with a plan. A hell of a good plan at that. There was this phone next to the bed it didn't work but it could be useful. I grabbed the phone and swiftly broke the cord. I hid in the bathroom and waited. After what felt like forever I heard the familiar sound of the lock.
