"Chuuya?" "Yes, Dazai?" "Would you love me no matter what?" "Heehh? What kind of question is that?" "Just answer it" "Of course I would, I love you, idiot."

Dazai and Chuuya are cuddling when suddenly, Chuuya turns to Dazai. "Hey, Dazai?" Chuuya asks. "Hmm?" Dazai hums back, half asleep, digging his head into Chuuya's chest. "What was up with that weird question you asked last night?" Chuuya can't help but ask. "Oh...that...um, I was thinking about something." Dazai answers slowly. "Well, what was the question?" Chuuya quarries. Dazai doesn't respond. Chuuya, growing concerned, sits them both up, and says, "No, really, Dazai, I'm becoming concerned, please tell me." desperation seeping into his voice, his eyebrows furring. "..I.. think.. I'm non-binary." Dazai answers slowly. "Where did that come from?" Chuuya asks. Dazai just looks away. "I'm not mad or disappointed but, curious where did it come from?" Chuuya says, not wanting to upset Dazai. "..The other night, when you were out on a mission I was bored, so I was just scrolling through different forums and found a forum of people talking about there experience of being non-binary..and I related to quite a lot of what they were saying, and then did a deep dive of different idenitys under the non-binary umbrella.... I.. it explained a lot of my experience growing up, and why I liked working undercover." Dazai explains slowly and quietly. Chuuya stares for a couple of seconds. "Love, it is completely okay, and I don't see you any different, and I myself am Demi-pansexual, this doesn't change my feelings what so ever. Okay?" Chuuya states. "..Okay." Dazai whispers. "Do you wish for me to use they/ them pronouns?" Chuuya asks softly. "He/ they." Dazai answers quietly. "Okay, now, let's go to sleep, it's 12 and we both have work in the morning." Chuuya says, a fond smile on his face. They then cuddle to sleep, barely making it to work on time.
