"Hello, munchkin."

I turn and come face-to-face with my big sister, "Isabella."

"How does it feel to return back to our old home?" She asks, looking around my room and back at me. Her dirty brunette hair was cut to a shoulder length bob, she was wearing a plush pink pants suit.

"Well as long as they don't remember we were the family they chased out everything is good," I grab up my bag.

"Besides where are you going?" I ask pointing at her outfit.

"Oh this ole thing?" She turns around showing me her outfit, "just having fun with daddies money as usual, besides how else do you expect me to go around this town to see what's changed," she looks me over, "You're going looking like that?" She says looking at my red and black flannel sweater.

"Yeah what's wrong with it?" I ask looking at my outfit.

"Nothing, you'll fit in just fine, I hope you have a great first day." She hands me my water bottle.

"Thanks," setting the water bottle down I put my hair up in a ponytail, and head for the staircase and out the front door.

"Don't forgot our parents will be here before you return," I clench my fist, and nodded my head before walking through the door. Fall was finally nearing, you can feel it from the slight chill in the morning air, the bunnies ran past me and in to a hole in the tree. I jump in my suv and reverse out the garage and head in the direction of restarting  my life.

I park in the university parkade, I pull the sun visor down, I open up the mirror and fix my hair before closing it and grabbing up my bag. I slip out my suv and pressed the alarm.

I step from out the shade and into the sun where I welcome the ray of the sun on my skin knowing today was going to be a long day and the way it might be looking night.

Grabbing my phone and opening the schools app for my school schedule and where my first class was going to be. Chemistry III with Mr. Christopher, I was familiar with the last name. Their family have been living here for quite sometime, I took my book out and started writing and making notes.

My day flowed perfectly, making notes on everyone, remembering faces, and definitely socializing with my classmates.

The class ended and my day continued, until I started feeling thirsty. I look around my bag for my water bottle when there was no sign, I could feel myself panicking. I checked the time and saw that it was only an hour left; before the class was finished. I could hear the ventricles contracting and relaxing, creating that beautiful sound I just cannot get enough of, the way it made me alive in words I couldn't even explain. I moved to the back of the class where no-one was sitting so I could be alone.

'As long as I keep still I will be fine'.

I tilted my head back closing my eyes trying to distract myself with what the professor was saying. When this smell lingered, it smelt like honey with traces of lavender. This was the first time I couldn't get my hunger under control, I sank my nails in my black denim jeans. Pulling my legs closer to myself. The smell got stronger when the door opens and closes, and I went completely rigid.

I inhale deeper and felt my toes curl, I watch her rush into class hiding her face from view, I snap my eyes closed. 'Please universe I have ask you for many things, and each time somehow along the way you've gotten confused but right now, I'm begging you don't let  her sit beside me.'

The rubbing of her bag strap against my ankle made me aware that they were getting ready to sit down.

'Universe I don't believe I've had the opportunity to tell you this but I hate you right now, of all the seats that she could have sat in you told her this one. I am going to hunt you down and I am going to make you pay for this, you dirty lowdown miserable motherfu-'

The dropping of her pencil case brought me back to reality, she softly whispers, "sorry". Her hair rubs against my leg. I listen to her place each item in her case, her hand rubs up against me as she grabs what appeared to be the last thing, before returning to setting up her work station.

I peep through my lashes just enough to see what she was doing. Everything was in perfect order and lined up to her liking, she pulled her MacBook out, 'what is with everyone and having damn MacBooks?'

My phone lights us with a text from my sister.

Isabella-

'Mom and dad wants us to meet up, any suggestions?'

I was about to respond to the text message when she released her hair from the hair-tie. The aromatic smell that came from her, cause me to inhale a little too deeply. This was one I could feel myself being addicted to, I was yearning for, no that's not quite it not yet. It felt like the air got knocked out of me, while I fight for control.

"Excuse me?" I look over at the brown eyes looking up at me, "Are you okay?"

"I... I... I," my words got stuck in my throat and I was just lost in her eyes. They look as if they sprung to life and poured dark chocolate with darker rays fanning out fighting for dominance at the pit of her iris, "I'm doing better now, thank you," I turn my gaze from her and back to the professor.

I could tell from my tone she thought I was annoyed from her asking. She rolled her eyes and backed away from me, she continues to work out the worded question.

'Okay universe I'll take back what I said if and only if she stays exactly still I-'

It was like the universe knew what I was gonna beg for not to happen, but decided to let it happen. She shakes off her black faux leather jacket and her sweet aromatic smell intensified. I collected all my belongings before sprinting from the door. I took one glance back both our eyes met but hers met mine with disgust, and disbelief.

When I was safely in the halls I look around to ensure the coast was clear, my head dropped feeling completely embarrassed, "stupid, stupid, stupid."

'How can I recover from this now?'  I started down the hallway, 'she probably thinks I'm weird, I'm never gonna recover from this, I should just move again, start a whole new life, change my name."

"What are you doing here?" I follow the sound of the voice to see a familiar face, "gramps told me you weren't suppose to be here, you should have seen the shock on my face when I saw you walking into that class right there," he says pointing at the door I walked through.

"I know we agreed to notify you when we got in, but seeing as my parents aren't here we thought it was best to wait now excuse me, I need to go lick my wounds elsewhere." I started to head in the direction of my suv.

"I know her just in case you're wondering?"

I start to chuckle, "You want something don't you?"

"You know us witches we like to cash in on a good deal when we can, plus I am one for theatrics," he was looking at his nails and back at me.

"Fine, I'm all ears."

I listened to what he had planned, and it spark my interest.

'I know you mediocre humans believe in soulmates, that two souls were destined to be together.    Imagine thinking this basic with the current population? However, us vampires believe in soul ties, where you can go through lifetimes falling in love with numerous people, but. There is always that one that stood out. The one that makes you question everyone that came before them, and I couldn't wait to get to know her.  That was why I suggested this restaurant. Of course with a little help.'

"Hello, my name is Elora," she looks at all our faces, "I'm your waitress today," she took everyone in while handing out the menus before finally landing her eyes on me we held both of our gazes, "what can I get you to drink?"
