Ryu was in the bathroom splashing water on his face.
Ryu: 'I'm playing against Shin this time. I can't hold anything back.'
He looked up closing his eyes.
Ryu: 'I'm at 100% right now, so I can give that much when I'm in the game.'
He opened his eyes and was shocked to see someone come through the door. He saw it was one of Shutoku's players walking behind him.
Ryu: Uhhh, yo.
???: Holy crap, Shin was right about you!! We are alike!
Ryu turned around slightly confused.
Ryu: Dude, I'm 6'4, you're like 5'9 at best.
???: Oh come on you can't act dense with me!
He looked into his eyes, as there was a slight similarity in them that Ryu seemed surprised by.
???: The names Takao!!
Ryu: -_-
Takao: Hey, why the mean face?!
Ryu: Geez, of all the things I didn't expect to face a mini me.
He began to wipe his face.
Takao: Is that a compliment?
Ryu: Depends how you look at it.
He walked out getting back to the locker room, finding the Riko was giving everyone leg massages.
Riko: Ryu, think you need one too?
Ryu: Nah, I didn't play the entire second half. I'm good to go.
They saw him grab his headphones before walking out.
Hyuga: Looks like even he's a little of edge.
Kuroko: It's not that exactly. It's more like he's impatient after sitting out the entire second half.
Izuki: So in other words, he wants to start the game right now.
Riko: Geez, that guy is something else.
He walked back in quickly.
Ryu: By the way, I think there might be a guy on Shutoku who can keep track of Kuroko. It's their number 10.
He left after saying that surprising everyone, minus Kagami who was napping.
Riko: Does he really think it's fine just leaving after saying that?!!
Ryu laid against the wall about to play his music before he was poked on the shoulder. He looked seeing it was a smiling Karma.
Karma: Only you can score 40 points in just one half.
Ryu: Haha, what can I say? Cueball got me fired up.
Karma: Let's hope the one to beat Shutoku is brighter.
Ryu: You'll see.
Karma: Well I won't distract you too much. I'll be rooting for you babe.
Ryu: Thanks.
He put on his headphones as she walked away.
TIME SKIP!!
Finally it was time for the game to begin as the teams began to line up. Finally, Ryu and Midorima came face to face.
Ryu: Been a while, Shin.
