You had to force yourself to take a shower. It had been a few days and this was the first time you managed to finally take a shower. Lord knows you needed it. You were covered in dirt, grime, blood. His blood. He's gone. Eddie was gone. All you had left was his guitar pick. You scubbed your skin as the hot water fell. After a few minutes you realized you had rubbed yourself red.

"He's dead." You said aloud to yourself. Tears started well in your eyes and not long after they fell. "God Eddie why did you have to go and play a hero." You fell to the floor of the shower. You cried until the water ran cold. You shut the water off and still sat there.

After a moment you got up. Grabbing a towel you left the bathroom and entered your room. The dirty clothes could wait. You got dressed. Pajamas. Then laid on your bed staring at the ceiling.

The past few weeks you and Eddie had gotten close. You had always been best friends. You somehow managed to get even closer. Everything with Vecna and the Upside Down just really put everything in perspective. You have stayed with him a few times while he was hiding just to keep him company. Those nights you had shared secrets. You laughed, harder than you ever laughed before. Kissed. Yes Eddie Munson had managed to win your heart in just a few days. And now he was gone.

Gone.

The word echoed in your head

Sleep never came that night. You replayed him dying in your arms over and over in your mind.

"Watch out for Hellfire for me." He coughed. His hand lifted to touch your cheek. "I love you Roxy. I always have." His hand fell to the ground. Then he was gone. Your screams of anguish followed.

"Come on Eddie wake up." You cried hitting his chest. "Wake up. This isn't funny Eddie wake up. You can't die. Please, I'll do anything. Just please. Wake up. I love you Eddie." You sobbed tears falling over his body.

Dustin had to pull you away. It hurt to leave him there. You planned on going back for him. To bury him properly. Here in Hawkins. You just had to figure out how.

You were forced out of your mindless staring when there was a knock on your bedroom door. It must have been hours maybe even days before your attention was broken

"Roxy! Come on open up! It's Dustin, you know your brother!" You sighed getting out of bed to go answer the door.

"What do you want Dustin?" You said almost completely monotone. "I'm not really in the mood for any bullshit right now."

"We were just gonna make a stop by Eddie's trailer. See if we can bring him back here. We figured you might wanna come."

You paused. Were you ready to go back? Better now than later.

"Um yeah. I just, I gotta get dressed. Give me five." You said. Not waiting for a reply before shutting the door in his face.

Black jeans, a band tee, black tennies, and Eddies jacket. You didn't care how you looked truthfully. You just wanted to bring him home.

You arrived at the trailer and said nothing as you got out of Steve's car. You stood there for a moment. He had taught you D&D here. Attempted to teach you guitar. Had many many sleep overs. And now it was pretty much torn in half.

"You okay?" You heard Robin ask. You didn't answer. You didn't know. You just knew you needed to bring him back.

Taking a deep breath you walked inside. You blinked back tears as you looked towards the portal to the Upside Down. Yes you know it's a gate. Calling it a portal just seemed to make sense to you. It was still mostly open. It seemed to have a heartbeat.
