I kick a stone away from my feet and watch it skip down the driveway. I'm unsure of why I even came here. I have an English paper due on Monday and I haven't even started it yet. So, instead of spending my Saturday doing that I am watching my friends get drunk. Don't get me wrong I enjoy going out and having a good time on occasion but this Saturday I have shit to do. I sigh glancing around the daylong. It's pretty packed and I catch sight of Marco, Jordan, and Olivia.
They signal for me to come over to them. I squeeze my way through the crowd towards the beer die table. Jordan is playing with some random guy as she watches the die.
"Hey, where's Jax?" Marco asks, rubbing his buzz cut. I frown looking over my shoulder to where I was standing. The spot is still empty. I am honestly wondering the same thing. He has been gone for some time now. My boyfriend, Jaxon Knight, wide receiver for Ohio State University and my boyfriend. My best friend, Easton introduced us and things kind of just fell into place from there. Easton Henderson, my best friend and hitter and outfielder for the baseball team. He is currently at an away game for the baseball team here. Although he should be on his way back.
"I haven't seen him in like an hour but he is probably inside playing beer pong," I shrug my shoulders. Olivia shrugs her shoulders and brushes her red hair away from her face. Since spring semester is coming to a close, everyone has been doing their best to have parties every weekend.
"What about Gianna?" Jordan asks, stealing a glance our way. I frown because she has also been missing for a few hours now. Gianna Brennan is our other roommate. Olivia, Jordan, Gianna, and I all live together. Jordan and I are both teammates on the soccer team while Olivia was my roommate freshman year and Gianna was Jordan's. Although, Jordan doesn't really love Gianna, they just always argue about stupid things. But they do like each other, sometimes.
"No clue, haven't seen either of them in awhile," Olivia comments, pulling herself up onto the concrete ledge of the porch. I sigh, glancing around the busy house. It's buzzing with even more people than when we first got here. My stomach rolls with anxiety as I cast a glance into the house. He is probably inside looking for me.
"Hey I am probably going to head inside and look for Jax," I state as the dice falls to the ground. The crowd around us yells loudly, throwing their hands up. Marco and Olivia cast a look my way with concern.
"Do you want someone to come with you?" Olivia asks with furrowed eyebrows. I am about to respond when a hand clamps down on my shoulder lightly. I jump forward at the electric feeling that goes through me. I whip around my brown hair unflatteringly getting into my mouth. I see dark hair and bright eyes, it's not Jax. I wipe my hair out of my eyes and look at Easton. His eyeblack is smudged from his game and he has a baseball cap covering his eyes. He looks stressed and sweaty.
