Gone Away || Minsung

Ch.22

Jisung rushed to his work within minutes, feeling absolutely exhausted from the rush and a lack of sleep of continuously waking up throughout the night.

"Finally, you're here. How was your date last night?" Changbin had to ask out of curiosity.

"You heard?" Jisung after catching his breath, his cheeks glowed bright red.

"Felix told me. So, how was it?" Changbin sat down in his desk chair, eagerly waiting.

"It was nice." Jisung rested his gaze to the floor with a small shy smile. "He took me to a festival then a fancy restaurant despite him being a vampire, he wanted me to eat well. The food was delicious and he was so charming. Oh my god . . . ."

Then it hit him.

"He stole my first kiss." Jisung covered his blushing face with his hands, feeling butterflies and warmth.

"You are so whipped! I'm happy for you Ji. If he starts being an asshole towards you come and tell me, I'll make sure to knock some sense into him." Changbin wouldn't hesitate to protect his friend.

Jisung only chuckled at the older's threat.

"I guess we can all finally go on those double dates Felix keeps talking about." Jisung blushed even more just thinking about another date with Minho.

"Hate to break your guy's fun but I need you two close this case by the end of the week." Their boss chief Choi Yeonjun entered.

"The end of the week?! That's to soon boss!" Changbin whined, knowing it would be almost impossible in just a span of a week.

"Please gives us more time sir." Jisung bowed, hoping for more time.

"Two weeks. Should be enough to make up from the previous two weeks. Don't ask for more time." He then exists the room with the other two  bowing.

"Minho isn't going to like this." Jisung knew the older would be furious.

Later that day while Changbin was trying to find more information about the murder and Jisung starting a report on the case, Changbin's sweet boyfriend decided to pay a visit.

"Binnie! Oh, hey Sungs!" A cheerful deep voice made himself known.

"Hey baby. What are doing here?" Changbin welcomed the younger Aussie with a smile.

"I wanted to visit you at work! Made some brownies wanted you to try, since Jisung is here you both can try it." Felix was nervous about his baking skills.

"You're a vampire, how did you—?"

"Chocolate is one of the foods that don't taste horrible to us." Felix let Jisung Pick out a brownie.

Jisung had a surprised expression after taking a bite of the brownie.

"This is really good Lix!" Jisung happily stuffed his cheeks with the delicious dessert.

"I'm glad, have more if you like. Binnie? Will you try one?" Felix wondered why the older wasn't budging.

"I'm on a diet, I'm sure they're delicious." Changbin was quite strict with his diets.

"Please binnie." Felix pouted his lip and puppy dog eyes, a look Changbin couldn't say no to.

He heavily sighs and grabs a brownie.

Not to his surprise they were absolutely delicious.

"Okay, your brownies are an exception. They're amazing." After finishing he pulls Felix to sit on his lap, planting a kiss on his cheek.
