A widowed father returns to...
Cordell and Emily meet each other halfway down the long driveway. Both of them get out of the car and walk over to each other in front of Emily's car
"Look at you. Did you get your guy?" Emily says
" Come on. You have to ask?" Cordell says
" You get huffy when I don't ask."
"Yeah, I got my guy. You heading out already?"
"Yeah, I got to pick up Geri and Sianna. They got the supplies."
"And you are gonna be..."
"On the approved route that you gave me."
"Okay."
"Don't worry, Ranger Walker... Now get up to the house. The kids are waiting on you, with your parents. - It's game night."
"Right... Uh, how do I play that game again? Every time you tell me the rules, I-I blackout."
"Babe, go in there, go have some dinner, go play some games. They're just so excited to see you. You could lose every single game, and it wouldn't matter." Emily tells him while putting her hand on his shoulders.
"Why are you talking about... straight to me losing?"
Cordell leans into Emily and gives her a passionate kiss
"Hey. Be safe." Cordell says
"You be safe. Stella's gonna whup your butt." Emily says
both of them get into the car and drive off

Cordell and The family are all gathered at Bonham and Abline's house for a board game night
"All right, yes. Dang.Dang.I've been in prison three times now."Bonham says
"H-How... You get a six and a five..." Cordell says
"Just watch, just watch," Augie says
"Oh...Okay."
"Come on, good roll. Oh, my God!" Stella excitedly says
"Okay, wait, wait, wait," Cordell says
"What?" Augie says
"Okay, okay, okay. What's happening?"
"What's happening is your son is mopping the floor with you," Boham says
"Yeah, I... yeah, I know he is, clearly...But I don't understand the rules, so it's-it's not fair." Cordell says
"Oh, I knew it!" Stella says, pointing at Cordell while laughing
"Oh! yeah," Abeline says
everyone is laughing at Cordell and have a few bits of snacks
