-Yami-

I sat in the airport, tapping my foot impatiently. It was finally the end of a long eight years of studying. Well....almost the end. Yugi was flying home today from America and will be arriving soon. I check my watch. Just a little longer...I think and my heartbeat races. It'll be our first time seeing each other in person since the summer last year. The time really has gone by faster than I thought it would. I close my eyes for a moment and tune out all of the loud noises in the background.

"Psst." Someone says behind me. I open my eyes and turn around, and it's Yugi standing behind me. My face breaks into a huge smile and I stand to hug him.

"Welcome home Aibou." I say, pulling him close.

Later that night, Yugi and I were getting ready for a party celebrating our college graduation and the beginning of our adulthood with all of our friends.

"I wonder if Duke will be there." Yugi remarked.

"I dunno. Sometimes he considers us his friends, sometimes he doesn't."

"True..." He mused.

"Either way, this night will be perfect." I say, kissing his cheek. Yugi smiles, and even though he's used to the affection, his cheeks are pink with blush. If only he knew what's in store for him tonight, the thought making me chuckle inwardly.

I can already feel the bass pumping in my throat as we pull up to the party. I imagine that it's my own heartbeat and close my eyes, enjoying the sensation. The night air is cool as Yugi and I get out of the car and walk to the door. Light spills out of the Kaiba Mansion as Mokuba opens the door.

"Hi guys!" He says, his face lighting up. We exchange hello's and it's like Yugi and I were never away from Domino. It feels good to chat with everyone all together like we used when we were still in high school. We dance in circles on the dance floor, lights glinting off our smiles and our eyes. It's a moment when we can let go of ourselves and just enjoy everything around us.

-Yugi-

This is the best night of my life, apart from when I met Yami. It's fun spinning around in circles and laughing until it feels like I might burst. I'm taking a break now, mostly because I'm really dizzy and I want to just stop and appreciate life. The band just finished playing one of their more upbeat songs and is transitioning into a slower song. Yami finds me standing on the wall, a smirk on his face.

"May I have this dance?" He asks, looking into my eyes and offering his hand to me.

"Of course." I reply, taking it. Yami pulls me out onto the dance floor and we start to slow-dance. I rest my head on his chest and close my eyes. No moment could be more perfect then this. After a few moments, Yami lifts my head up and looks me in the eyes.

"Yugi, can I ask you something serious?" I nod, noticing that all eyes are on us. Yami gets down on one knee and pulls a small navy box from his pocket. Could it be...?

"Yugi, I've known you for nearly a decade now and it's been some of the best years of my life. You're my other half, my light, my love. Yugi Muto, will you marry me?" I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat before I could actually process what was happening.

"Yes." I respond simply and he slips the ring onto my finger, a perfect fit. Then, Yami pulls me in and we kiss, long and slow. This is the best night of my life
