-Yugi-

"Aibou where are we going?" Yami asks me. I smile at him and shake my head. The drive out of Domino is about 45 minutes long and we've been in the car for about 5 or 10. Of course, Yami doesn't know where we're going.  He tunes the radio onto a random station and hums along to the song playing. It's one of the familiar pop songs that plays almost everywhere, even after everyone gets sick of it. A few minutes later, Yami changes the station again and the same pattern repeats until he's back at the station that he started at.

"There's a few CDs in the center console." I tell him, because the constant changing is breaking my concentration, even if it is only for a few seconds. Soon enough, one of his favorite band's is playing softly through the speakers.  I'm not really a rock type of person, but that's all that Yami ever listens to.  This particular song is it’s acoustic version, and I only know because I've heard it played time and time again because it's one of Yami's favorites.

Something's getting in the way

Something's just about to break

I will try to find my place, in the diary of Jane

As I burn another page

As I look the other way

I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane

So tell me how it should be...

Honestly, it's one of the songs that's wormed it's way into the special place in my heart.   I hum along to the song and listen to the familiar piano music.

*45 minutes later*

A bit later, the city skyscrapers are replaced by rolling hills and the pavement turns into dirt.  I can see a farm in the distance and I smile to myself.

"Yami?"

"Yes Yugi."

"We’re almost there." I tell him and his face lights up, brighter then I've ever remembered it.  A few miles down the road later, I turn onto the farm's driveway and  park the car.  I get out of the car, then go around to the passenger side to open Yami's door.

"What a gentleman." Yami chuckles a bit.  I don't say anything, but I can feel my cheeks warming and I'm sure my face is cherry red.  He laces his fingers through mine, still grinning. We walk together to the barn, our footsteps matched perfectly. When we reach the barn, I knock on the door, making a hollow sound.

"Come in!" A female voices calls from inside. Yami pushes the door open and we step inside, closing the door behind us. The aisle is lined with horse stalls, and standing in front of one of the stalls is a girl with long fire engine red hair and icy blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Ryoko, and I'll be your trail guide for today." She introduces herself, flashing a brief smile and holding out her hand to shake.

"I'm Yugi and this is Yami." I say, shaking her hand firmly. After that, Ryoko gives a brief summary of what we'd be doing that day and some safety precautions we have to take.

"Now that we have that done, this is just a waver that you have to sign, so if anything happens then the barn isn't liable. However, the likelihood of that is highly low" She says, handing us both a clipboard and a pen. After we sign and hand the clipboards back to her, Ryoko hangs them up on a hook on the wall and leads us down one of the aisles and out through the back door of the barn.  Three horses are standing outside, all of which were being held by what I think is another trail guide, a boy that looks about seventeen.

"They're all yours now Ryoko," He says, handing the reins to her while smiling at us.

"Thanks Shiro." She replies, high-fiving him as he walks back to the barn.  "This is Candy, Cinnamon and Pumpkin." Ryoko introduces us, gesturing to each horse as she says their name.  Yami and I go up to each of them, patting their necks and saying hi to them. Then Ryoko helps us mount Cinnamon and Pumpkin and adjusts a few straps here and there on the saddles. After mounting Candy, she beckons us onto the trail.

*A few hours later*

-Yami-

We rode out on the trails for a couple of hours until the sun started to go down. After we arrived back at the barn, Yugi, Ryoko and I dismount. I give my horse, Cinnamon a hug around the neck appreciatively and she nickers appreciatively. We help Ryoko lead the horses back to the barn, where she takes off their saddles and bridles and lead them back to their stalls.  When we’re all done with everything, the three of us stand outside of the barn, talking. After awhile, it’s time for Yugi and I to go home

"Thanks for everything Ryoko." Yugi says, shaking her hand

"No problem, you guys were probably one of my favorite groups to take out on the trails since I started working here. Thank you." She says, smiling.

"Well we really enjoyed ourselves so we'll definitely be coming back sometime. hopefully soon." I shake her hand and we all say goodbye. Yugi and I head to the car, hand in hand. It was a good day today, definitely one I'll never forget.
