The minutes tick by,
Turning into hours.
Nobody is here anymore,
When will they be back?
They come back,
But you're not with them.
Will you be there tonight?
I hope you will.
Gone for so long,
But still here.
My eyes long to see yours.
Every time, they evade me.
I'm surrounded by people,
None of them you.
I'm surrounded by people,
But my eyes will always search for you.
