So many people. It could break anyone to see all the crumbled to bits bodies lying in the streets. But Eda? It was hard to tell. Her sister on the other hand didn't seem to be taking it well. Who could really blame her though? I mean she just had a traumatic near death experience. She was shaking. Most of the people Eda was leading into the owl house for safety were as well.

Everyone stumbled through the door to prevent the outside danger from reaching them. Eda immediately went into hyper "mom friend" mode as they and Lilith always use to call it. It didn't noticeably happen often due to her chaotic nature and mischievous idea of fun. But it was there, especially today.

Eda had ran around the owl house tending to everyone with water, blankets, and more. Raine watched form the couch and refused any help she offered.

"Okay, Raine. Do you need anything? Your the last person I gotta check on and everyone is fall' in asleep from exhaustion." Eda asked looking at them expectingly.

They looked at how she cradled her arm wile she waited on their response. They simply shook their head stating,
"No, no I think I'll just turn in for bed like the rest but, thank you..." they finished as they stood and looked up slightly into her eyes. They then walked off to bed like promised. Or, so Eda thought at the time. Everyone else had as well.

This left Eda, as far as she new, Alone. She sat down on the couch exhaling a shaking breath. It was odd. It usual hurt to have her limbs removed, but never this badly. It never bled before.

She stood up again and managed to stumble into the kitchen. This is where most of the medical supplies she almost never used were kept. She reached grabbing bandages from under the sink. Her now bloody hand leaving behind a mark on the cabinet.

She leaned her front half against the countertop and rinsed off her arm under the faucet before attempting to wrap up her arm. She fumbled with the bandages for several moments becoming increasingly more frustrated the more times she fails miserably. Eventually she slammed the bandages down on the counter with a frustrated growl immediately followed with,
"Titan dam-it."

Raine watched quietly from the hall until this point, they wanted to make sure she was actually alright. Witch, she clearly was not.

They gently tap their fingers on the wall to gain her attention as they whispered,
"Hey, you alright Calamity...?" Her old nickname from back at Hexide.

They watched her straighten up in surprise, turning around almost panicked before seeing them. They approached her slowly and repeated themselves,
"Are you alright...?"

She looked away witch Raine took as a definite no. They reached over and grabbed the bandages off the counter and held them in front of her with a knowing looks. She let out a sigh.

Raine moved a bit closer towards her and grabbed at her still intact arm. It was difficult but they supported Eda as she walked (she had hurt her leg in the escape). They sat her down on the couch and crouched down on the floor. They gestured for her to once again remove her hand from her bleeding arm so they could see it.

"Oh, Eda..." they muttered so quietly it couldn't be heard.

They stood and rushed back to the kitchen, taking an wash-cloth from the cabinet. They dampened it under the faucet before rush back to Eda's side. They gently placed the cloth to her open wound letting it soak up the blood and clean it as well. Then they sat next her on the couch as they wrapped her arm. They said nothing to one another, though a million words needed to be voiced. Finally, after they were done Eda looked at them from her peripheral vision.
"Thank you..." she muttered, looking away again.

They look at her gently and grabbed her still bloody, free hand rubbing her palm with their thumb comfortingly.
"Anytime..." they said, a light shade of rose creeping up into their faces before they stood again.
"Now, we both should be turning in for the night." The way they emphasized both made Eda chuckle lightly.
She grabbed Raines outstretched hand just like they had the day they reunited. And they both drifted off into sleep with the other in mind.
