I took the papers and bid them farewell, since I have lots of things to do at the academy tomorrow, Scarle asked me if I could give her a ride home since she hasn't been at her mansion since yesterday.

I ask the maid to call on the coachmen to get ready to depart, i give some little note on the caretaker of my mansion.

When the carriage arrived the coachman escorted me and Scarle, i told him to stop by at yhe Harette Mansion before going home. He nodded in response and drove off.

We talk about random things, joke and laugh inside the carriage as we set off to Scarle's home.

Scarle is like a big sister to me that I never had, I mean there's my sister in-law natasha but its really different with the person you grew up with, we bond like real sisters.

"Are you sure you're not going to the banquet? Everyone will be happy to see you there Scarle"

"Goodness, no I won't be attending I'm sorry I'll be sure to send my birthday greetings to the Marquis"

Scarle said and smile.

We drove for 3 hours before we arrived at the Harrete Mansion after saying goodbye to her the carriage to off and went home it was already dark when I arrived at the Von Schmit Mansion.

You can clearly see the lights of the main house from here at the gate, there are lots of carriages from different aristocratic families only to attend to my brother's birthday, ofcourse you needed  an invitation in order for you to attend the party.

When the carriage finally stopped at the front, I can already hear the music coming from the great hall, the butler opened the carriage door and escorted me down, the butler and the employees welcomed me home, my maids are assisting me getting my coat and the papers at my hand and went straight to my room. I immediately walked upstairs but someone called me that made me stop walking.

I grimaced my face and turn around to look at the guy who called me,

"Stop pestering me Ian why don't you waste your time being with brother Steven."

I rolled my eyes and was about to run upstairs when a talk handsome guy blocked my view, it was Ian's younger brother, Jan.

"Why not greet your guest for tonight Milady, I'm sure they're waiting for you inside."

I looked at the man and he sweetly smiled at me, that made my cheeks blush like a red rose. You and your schemes Ian just you wait!!

Why Jan? Those innocent smile of yours cannot be compared to your twins creepily annoying smile at me, ah I must protect that smile. I sigh and went to the great hall greeting and smiling at the guest, not to be rude I also have manners.

The heck with this party, the brilliant lights the music, the people talking is making me dizzy I'm not really cut out for this, I went straight to where brother Steven is and saw that he was with his bachelor friends, talking and drinking wine.

I entered the Great hall only to see the chandeliers are open, as well as the doors connecting to the drawing and parlor rooms for ladies to rest and to retouch soem makeup, maids  roaming around helping some nobles. The gemstones are sparkling as the moonlight shines on them, people are dancing to the music, talking eating
Ian and Jan escorted me to where my birthdya boy brother is,

"Hapoy birthday steven" i blankly said to him he grimaced but chuckled afterward.

"Aw, sis you're too sweet you missed my grand announcement."
And smiled so brightly, the ladies began to surround them and talking about random stuffs, i went out and greeted some nobles, forcin myself to cursty and smiled at them.

"Good evening thank you for coming , please enjoy for the night."

I smiled and the forced their smile on me, after walking away i heard them mumbling bad things about me i sigh quickly greeted the other nobles.

Some of my brother's friends kept teasing me, I'm their favorite toy to play, they love to see me suffer but hey those giys are nice. They said that they can't even tease Roxie because of her seriousness and she looks like she could kill you with one look.

"By the way, has anyone seen Simon? It'sbeen a while and he hasn't come back."

As Ian asked the boys, Steven just shrug and turn his head to si Skyler surrounded by ladies who fancy him.

"Please stop flirting with the ladies Skyler everyone knows you don't like that girls, stop flaunting your natural looks its discusting"
Geez, men and their flirtatious side, ladies fancy them because they're bachelors from a high ranking family and the sole heir to their family, ofcourse women would flock their ways to them, men only wants whats under the skirt.

"Aw, did I make the Maxine Mad again? I'm sorry my lady but the ladies can't resist my charms."

Skyler laugh as well as the ladies surrounding him, their fans are up covering their mouth while looking at me disgustingly, i gave skyler an angry stare and he raised both of his arms in surrender. After talking with for a little bit I bid my farewell to them as well to brother, I curtsy and went out of the great hall.

"Let's go Marina, I'm tired kindly prepare a hot bath please "
I as i told my chamber maid, we went to my room and she immediately prpared the hot bath while I wait. I opened the balcony took my robe and went out to get some fresh air.
I can still see the great hall with bright lights, can hear the music and laughter guess they'll be doing some overnight at the banquet.

I was about to return and close the door when I notice a figure on the garden, a tall man just stood there like he was watching someone, I lean over to take a closer look and saw his head turn to my side. I took a step back and closed the balcony

"My lady is everything alright?"  Marina asked I told her I'm fine and she helped me take some warm bath before going to bed.

After bathing she helped me put on my sleep wear and brushed my long brown hair. I told her that I'll be staying a bit late and that she can return for the night.

I went to my table after marina left and took out the papers I got from my manor earlier.

I raised one of my eyebrows in confusion,
'I thought they're really giving me school notes turns out that it's just cover'

I rolled my eyes and sigh in disbelief

'It's not really related to school, that clever king wanted to make our hands pry on some intel about the magicians huh.'

My gut tells me that this is a bad idea, if the magicians is indeed involve in this matter then the tower must be destroyed. But we need evidence. The girl Leslie how and where did she even get some informations here? Apart from the kings letter she included the informations beforehand that slyfox.

Something's weird about this, it's not just code the info talks about a High noble that's using a dark arts magic and the king wants us to investigate whoever that articrat is, now this may be a chance to the new uprising aristocrats.

I cursed and dishelved my hair cause it's making me confused we need more information, we probably have to plant some spy

I need more info kulang ang info ng intel.

I checked some papers that were given to us, some of it was just some minor orders from the prince and the princess.

Maybe there's some relations between the strays and the magicians? Are they planning something? The holy church won't be sitting idly when they heard about this.

After checking everything i compiled all the papers and a picture fell of it was a picture of a broken tower.
