The truth behind cold walls

It was the morning of the fifth day, fours has passed of the trip, the serenity around them changed dramatically. No green plants remind in sight, everything become deserted: vast cracked lands, the ground a red colour, black grimy giant rocks everywhere, grey thorns,... everything implies melancholy and grumpiness, like the state of our five friends.

After that faithful first night in the forest everything become clearly akward between them, as the remaining three dosen't know what happened exactly that day. Ikor and Riff not saying anything, avoiding each other, bypassing one another like they dosen't exist.

Everyone was reaching their limits, Trek dosen't have the same appetite as before, Eron losing his active not saying a lot, till Ao-ki can take it no more, "Riff! Ikor! Come with me right now!!". Shouted the girl, grabbing the two by the ears dragging them behind her in the astonishment of the other two. After they disappeared from their sight, the two looked to each other and shrugged in confusion.

- So! will you tell me about what happened that night!!!

-.....

No word from the two.

- Everyone is getting on their nerves because of you! Say something. She begged losing her cool.

- Ao-Ki I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause you discomfort, to any of you. Said Ikor.

- So answer me, we can solve things together. This journey supposed to be fun not gloomy like that.

- It was an accident, nothing to worry about. It's getting hotter by the days so I'm only feeling a little off, I'm not in my element and I don't have the protection of the bracelet like last time. That's all.

- How about you Riff, you are in your element, so why this vibes and distance with everyone.

- I....I....I..........

- You, you, what about you?

- As I said Ao-Ki, it was only an acci....

- Don't give me that shit again, I'm fed up with you, how can you keep saying that, when you are still bearing those scars, that's not something to pass on as an accident. The girl snapped, yanking  his clothes off, revealing the still existing mark. Startling the boy with her action.

Now it was Riff's turn to open his eyes like soccer ball, feeling the impact of his doing ten folds sending a bile up his throat, swallowing thickly, he opened his mouth to speak, but nothing come out, he lowered his head in shame not finding the words.

- Say something ...

- I'm really sorry, it's all my fault. I should've listened to him when he said to leave him alone, then nothing would have happened. He Interrupted her.

- So you admit that it's all your fault. I need to know what happened exactly.

- There is no need for you to know all the details. It was something in the past.

- Shut up! or I'll force you to do so Ikor. She said glaring to him "now answer me Riff, I really can't hold myself any longer" she said angrily the Darkans mark showing.

- You are not obliged to answer anything... Ikor said not looking to the meant boy.

It was the straw that broke the mule's back, Ao-Ki turned in her heels attacking the defenceless boy, gripping his arms forcefully, the fire boy snapping his eyes up looking in terror to the flaming violet eyes, the Darkans mark showing clearly on her forhead, like that she invaded his mind forcefully.
