As you dash down the prime path, you tripped over your shoes, the cold air burning your lungs. You jumped and dodged over the red vines of the egg as well as the eggpire members, barely escaping death once again. You had thrown on a coat over your pajamas, putting on a random pair of sneakers. The message on your com confirming Tommy's death this morning stabbed you in your heart, you needed to go to XD and now.
"XD? XD!"
"Y/n?"

They caught you before you tripped over the carpet of the Church, your hands were clutching its robe, knuckles turning white. The tears trickling down your face concerned the god, its hand quickly wiping them off
"Tommy he-- Dream killed him."
They knew this wasn't supposed to happen, shit.
"Kiss me, quick."
"This isn't the time to joke!" You almost yelled, the gasps for air becoming more desperate. They quickly shake their head, gently grabbing you by the chin, noses barely touching.
"The last chore. Kiss me, I'll bring him back."
They noticed your hesitation.
"Is this alright?"
This is for Tommy and your heart.
You slowly nod before you close the gap, butterflies unbottling. You felt small sparks on your lips, the new feeling surprising you. You wrap your arms around their neck as they hold your hand, the quick kiss becoming something much more and deeper. As you pull away for air you see the message.
