"Nasan na ba siya? Bakit ba hindi siya nagrereply sa mga texts ko? She didn't even answered my calls!... Baka naman hindi siya papasok? Tss! Ilang weeks pa lang ang klase umabsent na?! Ano ba naman yan Shanna!" . . Yes, I'm talking to myself. I dont know why I so bothered that she is not here, Well, siguro nasanay na din ako na lage kameng magkasama since nung first day ng school. I've been standing here for an hour still waiting for her when suddenly I noticed a couple of girls staring at me, maybe I'm their topic also. I smiled at them, ofcourse I'm friendly, that's it! After a minute, the girls approached me.. Di nakatiis?! "Hi Brent" one girl said flirting with her eyes, "Sinong hinihintay mo?" the other asked.. "Siguro yung girlfriend mo no?" the girl in my side speaked.. "Uh, hinde. Hinihintay ko yung friend ko." I said checking the time. "Sinong friend?" I heard Margarette said, "Si Shanna na naman ba'?" she added..., I'm about to speak but.. "Alangan namang Ikaw?!" somebody did, everybody looked at the back , we saw Shanna there. "Bakit ngayon ka lang?" I asked her, she go near me then puts her hands on my neck.. "Are you waited for so long Babe?" she said flirting with me.., what? She call me 'Babe' really? .. What the?-- I cant move, were too closer... Fuck! She just makes me weak. >.< natotorpe ako! She looks at me sweetly. I dont' wanna die, Please don't show me your killer smile! ... After a few moment of staring, Finally, she pulled herself from me and hold my hand, ugh..
Muntik na ko dun aa! "Let's go Brent, malelate na tayo" she said then pulled me out of the crowd. I'm so nervous... I can't still talk to her after what happened, until' she stopped walking and speaked.. "Bakit mo siya laging kasama?" she asked., "Huh? Sino?" I asked her in a puzzle face. "Si.. Margarette?" she said looking at me, "Ewan ko, mabaet naman siya ee. Palagi siyang lumalapit saken." I don't know why she asked it to me, Margarette is nothing for me, "mabaet daw!?" I heard her whispered... "You know why?" she said then started to walk slowly.. "Why what?" .. "Why she is always approaching you everytime ..?" she said, "Uhmm, I don't know? ... Why?" I asked her following her steps,. "Because Margarette likes you." she said looking me in the eye.. "How did you know?".. "I know it, I'm a girl!" she exclaimed.. "Uh, really? So whats the thing?" I tried to let out her point.. "Uhm.. Nothing? Yeah, nothing!" her voice stuttering.. "Nothing? Why you care?" I go near her... "Uh.. uhm.. Youre my friend! I cared about you, and... I must know youre stuff!" she walked backward trying to avoid being cornered. "Well, oo nga naman. We're FRIENDS!" I exclaimed.. "Yeah, that's right." she said gave me a cracked smile. "O pano, pasok na ko?" she said... "Okay, see ya later" I gave her a smile. Then proceed to my room.
I immediately looked for her after the dismissal. A minute later, Cleign approached me ... "Hey, bro! What's up?! Sinong hinihintay mo?" his hand on the waist of a girl, "Huh!, sino na naman yan Bro?! Bago na naman?" I said and gave him a smirk.. "Syempre naman no! The more , the marrier! Hay nako, wag ka ngang umastang goodboy! If I know, mas malala ka saken!" he said .. "Tss! Syempre, mas gwapo ako sayo no! Expected na yan!" I said kidding him, "Yabang neto! Tara na nga darling." then he left with his chick. Right after , I saw Shanna talking to one guy.. he pulled out his phone and gave it to Shan.. Shanna is typing.. I heard them... "Okay, thanks Shan, I'll call you later. Bye." ... "Sure. Bye." Shanna said then started to walk forward. She put up her face and saw me, "Ow, Hi Brent!.. Bat nandito ka pa? Sinong hinihintay mo?" she said, clueless! "Sinong hinihintay ko?! Sino kaya ang lagi kong hinihintay pag dismissal time? Yung babaeng hintay ako nang hintay tapos yun pala kasama ng ibang lalake!" I don't know why I said to her... I don't know what's inside me... I walked away, but she stopped me, "Anong problema mo?" she asked holding my right hand, "Wala!".. I exclaimed I'm about to walk, I forgot she still holding my hand. "Hindi kita bibitawan hanggat di mo sinasabe kung anong problema mo" she said while keeping tighten her hold, I took a deep breath..., "Sinong kasama mo?" I asked her looking sharply.. "Sino dun?" she is annoying me.. "Haha joke lang. Yun ba? Si Ken? Bakit?" she said.. "Ken? Kaano-ano mo yang Ken?" honestly, I don't know why I'm asking it.. But I want to know.., "Friend ko?"... "Friend mo'?".... "You know Brent, were running around the bush! Ano bang problema? Nagseselos ka ba?" she said straight to the point., well I guess I got the answer to my questions.. I'm just jealous! JEALOUS? But why?... "A-- ano?! Ako? Nagseselos? Ano ba yun? Diko nga alam yun ee!" I really don't know what to say... "Talaga lang huh?" I know that she know that I'm lying! Damn! I'm not good in making an alliby! >.< "Baket naman ako magseselos?" I asked ... She go near me... Tss! Ma co-coma na naman ako! "Ewan ko? Baket ka nga ba magseselos?".. She stared at me for a while...then.. "Ehem! Ehem.." someone made a fake cough, we looked back and saw Manong guard. "Gusto niyo pa bang ipagpatuloy yan? Magsasara na kase ang school e? Nakakahiya naman?" he said.... "Uh, sige po manong lalabas na po kame" Shanna said then took a step away from me.. "Punasan mo pawis mo" She whispered to me.. I found my self totally sweating.. I immediately pulled out my handkercheif and wipe my sweat. "Ang init kasi" I said , hoping that my alliby will work at this time.. "Ofcourse, you're with me. I'm Hot!" she wink then walked forward, I saw her smirked. Nvm. I have nothing to do but to follow her. Tsss! Next time I will study how to make an alliby! I hope there's a book for it.
She was about to go inside her car when she remembered the scene lately. "Uh, Brent.." she said rubbing her hands, "Yeah?" .... "Uhm.. I just want to.. About what happened kanina.. Kasi...--" she said choppy "It's alright , no need to explain" I said, "No, I need it. I need to explain".... "I just want to protect you" she said.. "Protect from what?" ... "Fuck! From them!" she exclaimed.. "They're dangerous!" she added, "Dangerous' mas dangerous pa sayo?" I gave her a smirk. "No, I'm still poisonous than them!" she said with a pride.. "So, dapat pala mas mag ingat ako sayo?"... I asked her, "Hahaha! Dapat nga talaga, mag ingat ka saken!" she laugh out loud.. "Uhmmm.. What about the 'Babe'?" I can't look at her, I'm too shy.. "Uh, about that thing.. I'm sorry for flirting. I don't know why I said, that just let out of my mouth-- em.. Sorry" she said dissapointedly. "You said sorry? But I like it!" I said lowering my voice.. "So, you like it? E, dapat pala mag thank you ka pa saken?" she said kiddingly.. "Well, thankyou" I took it seriously., "Uhm.. Welcome Brent" she said smiling.. "So, it's getting late. Mauna na ko?" I said, brushing my hair... "Yeah, sure." she simply said.. I took my steps towards my car when she call me... "Brent?" I saw her still outside.. "Yeah?"... "Uhm.. Ingat lang" she said shyly.. "Ikaw den Babe" I said kidding her.. "Okay Babe" she responded, I didn't expect it, that she will call me back 'Babe'. Tss! I felt that my face is heating a bit! Buti nalang gabe, di niya masyado mahahalata. XDD Then she go inside of her car and left, I did the same.
