I woke up in a bright ass hospital room and I had this long ass dream that I was dead and I was deadass watching my own funeral.
"Shit what the fuck" I said putting my hand over my eyes.
"OMG YOUR UP I CANT BELIEVE THIS" the nurse said as checked today make sure I was ok. She told me that after I was shot that they performed emergency surgery, but I never woke up. So they put me into a coma so that when I did wake up I would be able to breath properly.
"Would you like me to inform your family?" She asked unhooking me from the machines.
"Just my brother, sister in law, best friend and cousin." I said sitting up. I checked my phone as the nurse walked out of the room. I had a whole bunch of missed calls and texts from people seeing if I had woken up yet. I texted Yonna that I was ok and asked her to bring me some wing stop and snacks.
I saw I had some missed calls and texts from Nardo. I honestly didn't wanna talk to him right now. Just to think if he wouldn't have left me after I told him that I wouldn't be here right now. I probably would've gotten out in time. Im not blaming him, it's just that I have very mixed emotions about him right now and not ready to face them.
I went to our message thread and turned of my location and took my location of life360, so that when I leave, I could clear my head for a while. * * * "Ayeee wassup big head" Noah said dapping me up as he and Sasha walked in.
"Hey girl" Sasha said giving me a hug.
"Hey yall" I said giving them a weak smile.
"How you feelin" Noah asked as he sat down in the little chairs.
"I feel totally better physically, but mentally not a much. But I'll get over it. Im honestly just ready to leave and go back home. Or move somewhere else maybe. Need a change of scenery." I said drinking some water.
"Yea I get that. Well we finna head out, but ima be here when u get out." He said.
"Ight bye yall"
ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ ᴅᴀʏs ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ
I had just got out the hospital yesterday. They sent me home with some antibiotics for my headaches but besides that I was in perfect condition. After that, I didn't want to live in BR anymore because somebody has obviously been keeping tabs on me. I also got a new phone and number and only gave it to certain people. I deactivated all of my social media accounts so I could stay out of the public eye.
I also was gonna call Nardo to tell him that we need to take a break. I honestly don't have the energy in my right now to be in a serious relationship. I just need a break right now to focus on me and no one else. So I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.
"Hello"
"When u get out?"
" yesterday"
"you ight, everything good?"
"yea just some headaches but im adjusting."
"that's good. want me to come over?"
"actually nah i needa tell you sum"
"if u need yo space that's ight. ill be back for u inna couple of weeks tho" he said laughing.
"actually i think we needa be done overall. i just don't have the energy in me right now to be in a serious relationship. i just need time to focus on myself and get me right."
"oh, it's good i get it. but anything u need some, just now I will drop everything to be there. don't forget it."
"ok, well im finna go handle some things."
"ight. take care of yo self and don't let nobody get to you. keep everything i got u. and open them boxes" he said referring to the last of her gifts that he got her.
"ok and thank you for being understanding. and for the gifts."
"it ain't nun, I love you"
"I love you too" i said before he hung up the phone.
I began to gather all of my belongings to head to the airport to catch my flight back to BR. ____________________________________
