Y/n worked in an old cinema in little old Hawkins Indiana. Nothing special really happened there but recently your best friend Johnathan's little brother, Will, went missing. It bummed you out because he was a sweet kid and his family was very upset over it.
You were working your regular shift at the cinema.
Y/n's boss: can you take the trash out y/n?
Y/n: yeah of course
You grabbed 2 trash bags and started to head to the alleyway to throw them in the dumpster.
But as soon as you opened the side door you heard commotion. It was Jonathan and.. Steve fucking Harrington. You never really liked Steve, he was the man whore of Hawkins (it's true, Steve is a man whore).
Johnathan started punching Steve and Steve started to (try) to fight back. You dropped the trash bags and ran over.
Y/n: Johnathan what the hell is going on?!
Johnathan: Steve is shit talking Nancy!!
Y/n: wtf Steve?!
Steve punched Johnathan and suddenly you saw red, lunging and Steve and punching him square in the nose.
Steve: wtf?! You're not a part of this?!
Y/n: no one beats up my best friend!!
Steve and his friends got out of there as the cops pulled up and your boss ran into the alley seeing you now covered in blood.
Boss: y/n you're fired!
Y/n: well shit
You were then taken to the police station and taken in for questioning. After a couple of hours you were let go. Johnathan hugged you.
Y/n: you ok? (You touched the side of his face)
Johnathan: trust me, you've done worse to me
You both laughed and you began walking home as Johnathan and Nancy drove off.
You got home, got ready for bed, and fell asleep.
