The light exploded from her, going in multiple directions. Joseph and I were quick enough to dodge the magic, but Aspen wasn't quick enough. The light propelled through him causing him to fall to the floor. Time felt like it slowed I hear a loud thump and I turn my head towards the noise and see Constellation laying motionless. I run towards her and pick up her body and her eyes go blank and her heart beat slows rapidly.
Her eyes shut and she lost conciousness. I shake her and my tears flow freely. I look over at Joseph and he watches worriedly. Suddenly I hear a disembodied scream and my eyes widen.
"Did you hear that?" I gasp looking back at Joseph.
"No, what did you hear?" He asks walking up to me.
"I heard a scream, it sounded like Stella's." I whisper looking at Constellation.
"What do you mean?" Joseph whimpers.
"It means what it means, did you check to see if Aspen was alright?" I ask worriedly.
"Yeah, I did." He whispers sadly.
"What is it?" I ask looking at the devastated boy.
"He's dead, she killed him." He growls.
"Oh no." I breath out. I pick Constellation up and bring her to the couch, laying her down.
"What about her?" Joseph questions with a raspy voice.
"Her heart beat is extremely slow, it's almost completely stopped and she hit her head hard so she is unconcious at the moment." I explain stroking her hair.
"I can't believe you moved on from Stella so quickly." He mumbles.
"She is Stella, the hidden one." I say quietly looking over to him.
"So what you're saying is that Stella had a hidden part of her?" Joseph hisses.
"I don't know, but it seems alot like that. She needs rest
