FINAL CHAPTER
I sigh loudly and follow Stella out the door, I follow her tracks aimlessly and I feel cold air pick up. A puff of smoke escapes my mouth when I breathed out and I look around, I saw children playing in a playground I didn't recognize. I bite my lip awkwardly and people start to stare at me. I decide to shake it off and I walk away. As I wander around I see a body laying on the ground, a thick layer of snow enveloped it and a blue hand poked out lazily.
I run towards the body and start pushing the snow off of her, underneath the blanket of snow was Stella, her hair was brown, except for the top half, it remained white. I lifted her body and examined her blue skin worriedly, her eyes were closed and I tried to open them, but they were frozen shut. I picked her up and I looked around desperately, I didn't know this area so I had no choice to ask someone. I started towards the group of people I saw before, but they were all gone. My speed picked up and I felt warmth wrapping around me.
The snow was gone again and I was back in the Underworld. I looked down at Stella, her white hair was becoming whole once more, but there was still some brown at the bottom. My arm started feeling wet and I realized that Stella was thawing. A smile crept on my face and I continued on my path home until I got there. I opened the door and Joseph and Shadow looked at me curiously, I lay Stella down on the couch and pull a blanket over her.
"What happened?" Joseph asked and I looked at him.
"Nothing, she's fine." I sighed. Shadow grunts and walks over to me. Suddenly she slaps me and my hand lifted my hand over the sting.
"We're not stupid! We know something had to have happened." She growls. I open my mouth to speak, but Stella's cold hand grabbed my wrist.
"Stella?" I whisper looking at her.
Her eyes flutter open and a sigh escapes her mouth, I place my hand on her face and she smiles. Suddenly her eyes completely fling open and she leaps off the couch. I stand up and watch her run away. The bathroom door opens and shuts with a loud thump. I look at Joseph and Shadow with confusion, I hear the door open again and she walks out holding her stomach.
"What's wrong?" I ask. She looks at me tiredly.
"Just stomach sickness." She says, the tone in her voice was obvious that she was lying.
"Alright." I grumble, she walks upstairs and I head to the bathroom.
I open the door and look in, nothing seemed wrong, but I walked in fully anyway. I look around and notice something in the garbage. I walk over to it a crouch beside the trash, reaching my hand in I grab the unknown object. When I pull it out my jaw drops, resting in my hand was a pregnancy test, and it was positive. I drop the test and jump backwards, I quickly wash my hands and rush out of the bathroom heading straight to the room.
I push open the door and look at Stella, anger and happiness ran through my veins.
"When were you going to tell me?" I breathed out. She looked at me with confusion.
"I don't understand." She responds.
"I saw the test." I mumble. Her eyes go as big as saucers and she looks down.
"Raven, you're going to be a dad."
