BLACK ORCHID

Prologue

"Jackson..." She shakingly called his name.

Tears rolled down her cheeks, looking through her shaking hands, which were covered with blood. Feeling a hard clench in her heart, her knees felt weak. She fell, crying out loud. The pain in her heart of losing her first love is slaughtering her from inside. Seeing her like this, panicked Jimin came running. He asked, "What happened? why are you crying?"

She was having a hard time speaking. A lump stuck in her throat, making her sob out loud. She looked up into his eyes with her swollen and red eyes witch not stop her from shedding her pear tears. Seeing her broken, his heart clenched.

He cupped her face, wiping tears with his thumbs, and asked worriedly. "Please don't cry... what happened? Tell me. Did someone hurt y___" he stopped from speaking further when his eyes landed on her bloody hands. "What happened to your hands?" He panicked and asked her.

Getting no replies from her, he called someone shouting.

"JACKSON. JACKSON COME HERE JACKSON..."

Hearing someone calling his name, he ran downstairs, leaving behind his laptop open. His eyes widen, seeing the girl's lifeless body on the floor, crying out loudly. He ran toward her. He made himself sit near her. Pulling her into his embrace, he softly brushed her hair with his palm to make her calm a little.

"Shhh.... Don't cry, everything will be okay... I'm here with you...don't cry. calm down..." his whispered sweet talks near her eyes.

After a few hours, she calmed down. Breaking the hug, she held Jackson's arm and said to him, "Jackson... I killed him. I killed him with my own hands. They will come after me."

"No. No. No one can take you away from us... I told you that you'd be safe with me. I won't let anything happen to you..."

"NOO... they are already after me. I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to leave him.... I can't leave without him... You know that, Jackson. Please save me. Please." Shaking her head as if disagreeing, she stutters, saying to Jackson.

Jimin turned her around making her face him. He held her arms and bent a little so that he could look into her eyes and speak. "Look at me. You know right, I love you more than anything. I won't let anything take away from him. Trust me... I'll protect you and him till the end."

She nodded in agreement. She trusts Jimin. He was her childhood best friend. Jimin loves her so much, but he never had the guts to express his feelings. This is the first time he has confessed to her that he loves her and will do anything to protect her.

A loud explosion caught their attention. All gasped from the sudden noise, as they stood straight, making their way to a large glass window. The main gate of their big mansion exploded. Men were lying to death with floods of blood. Someone has attacked their mansion to take her. The men in white suits are members of the Lorenzo mafia clan. They are fighting with the guards of the mansion, who are very few in number as compared to Lorenzo's. Gun-firing sounds echoed across the mansion.

A flustered girl spoke to them, "they are here. Please save me. please... I don't wanna go..." she begged, crying to them.

"Jimin took her away from the backyard," Jackson said taking his guns out.

Jimin nodded. Taking his gun out, he held her wrist and started dragging her with him to the backyard. "Let's go. We need to be fast."

They killed all the guards and burst into the front door of the mansion. Jackson tried to fight with them but unfortunately failed because they were too many numbers. He tried to stop them but failed. One of their trusted men checked the whole mansion to trace her. He came running from downstairs.
