Now, something that is rather important is that Cathy wears glasses. She can see without them but after a while things will get blurry and she gets a headache.

Cathy's POV

It was lunchtime, 3 new people at the table. Catalina constantly glaring at Anne, the only problem about it is that Anne had no idea why Catalina was doing this. Lina had dreams like memories about Anne but they where bad, real bad from what I had heard.
"So, kat, your year 9?" Anna asked and kat nodded "yeah. I'm going music this year. And I'm doing art instead of language." I look up. "Hm.. I take 3 year art too. And I'm doing music this year. We'll probably be in the same music, but not art, as I'm year 11." Kat smiles and responds with,"cool!" We all continue to talk for a bit. The first bell goes and the year 7s and 8s go in for their 20 mins of reading. I stand up, leaving my bag. "Where are you going?" Jane asks, confused about me leaving my bag. "Toilet." I respond and walk to the toilets.

I do my business and start washing my hands when 2 girls enter the bathroom. Their both in my year, I don't remember their names but I know their both trouble.
"Hi Catherine!" One of them says in fake kindness, Y'know, that bitchy voice they have that makes it seem like their being nice, but their really not.
"Hello?" I respond, just trying to wash my hands.
"Nice glasses! Mind if I try them?" The 2nd one asks.
"Look, I'd appreciate it if you didn't-"
One of them takes my glasses and then the other one pushes me down. They both run out of the bathroom, pocketing my glasses.

I walk back to the table, Jane notices the absence of my glasses, "hey, Cathy, where did your glasses go?" I sit down and lean my head against her shoulder. "Ask the bitches who stole them..." I mumble quietly. Jane stands up, being careful not to hurt me. She takes her bag and walks off.
"Anne.. where's she going?" I ask her cousin, her face showing an "oh shit" look.
"Either to find your glasses, commit a murder, or both." I stand up, grab my bag and quickly run after Jane. Soon, Catalina catches up with me. "What? You think I'd let someone mess with my family? Come on cath, let's go get your glasses, and find your friend." I nod and we continue to walk through the halls.

With Jane

Jane finds 2 girls holding a pair of glasses identical to Cathy's pair. Jane listens in to the conversation to make sure that these are the write people.
"They never put up a fight." One says, laughing. "Yeah, it's so easy." The other says, also laughing.
Now Jane is certain that these are the bitches who stole Cathy's glasses.
"Hey! You two!" The girls turn to her, one putting the glasses in her pockets.

"Give me the glasses." Both of the girls just start laughing. Now, it is a very well known fact that when jane is angry you don't fuck with her, otherwise someone is going to need help and it won't be her. "Alright, now, you've pissed me right off. Give me the fucking glasses!" One of the girls takes the glasses out of her pocket. She gives the glasses to the other girl and they both make a run for it.

The girl with Cathy's glasses clearly isn't great at running since it doesn't take long for Jane to catch up. She grabs the girls shoulder and turns her round. "Last chance. Give me Catherine's glasses." Well, the bitch doesn't seem to be letting go of the glasses. Jane shoves the girl against the wall and the girl punches Jane in the face, and Jane reacts by slapping her back. "Ow!" A teacher hears this and comes running over. The girl quickly gives Jane the glasses and runs off.

"Jane Seymour! I am surprised. I do not expect this from you!" The teacher is her form tutor, Miss Abbott.
"I'm sorry miss. They took my friends glasses and refused to give them back when I asked nicely." Her teacher nodded, "okay, but I will have to give you and Jessica a 2 hour for your physical response to this, I will give Sophia a same day for theft." Jane just responds with a "that's fine" and walks back towards the canteen where she is greeted by Cathy and Catalina, before she even gets there.
Jane hands Cathy her glasses, who starts cleaning them off with antibacterial wipes. "Thank you Jane. I never would have been able to do that. I'd live out the rest of my days being blind." Jane hugs Cathy.
"Those girls do not give up easily. I got a 2 hour for you Cathy and it was definitely worth it." Jane smiles and so does cathy and her older cousin. They walk back to the canteen, where Anna, Anne and kat are waiting for them.

"Jane.. why do you look like you've been in a fight?" Kat asks, making everyone else curious about the situation as well. "Because I have. I took a punch and gave one back." The oh shit looks return to Anne and Kat's faces. "Jane.. your parents are going to kill you." Jane nods, still smiling. She explains everything that happens.
"Yep.. your dead. Do you want white or red roses at your funeral?" Anne says, taking our her notepad and pen.
"I'm not going to die. Plus any consequences are worth it. Because, now my short friend can see again!" Jane says. Cathy sits, glaring at Jane, trying not to smile. Jane looks at her and laughs.

There will be plenty of time for more small jokes. In fact Cathy does nothing but deal with them, even from Anna, and she's a year younger.

"Hey! I'm only 5'2! That's not short!" Jane smiles and pat's Cathy's curly hair. "Your right. Your not short." Cathy smiles proudly, not getting the slight hints of sarcasm, "your absolutely tiny!" Cathy attempts to push Jane, but it just ends up as a very angry hug. Cathy couldn't push Jane as she was weaker than the blond girl.
Jane managed to get Cathy's smile back, as Cathy wasn't actually angry and it's not too hard to get Cathy smiling.

The pair have known eachother for a few hours at most and have already become practically inseparable.
