I am surrounded by pitch blackness...
A animal-like growl sends me running..
My heart quickens, adrenaline pumping.
Suddenly
I turn around...
The sound of claws raking the ground greets me.
Emerald eyes glow in the dark
Leathery wings sprout from its back
And teeth three inches long.
It takes its clawed hand
And jerks my head up...
What do I do?
It snarls at me, as if to shut me up..
The creature lunges at me...
Blood runs down my neck
Filling my throat...
Just as everything goes black..
I wake up.
