Something didn't feel right..
I looked around,
Adrenaline coursing its way through my veins.
Where was he?
The woods was dark and frightening
In the middle of the night.
A rustle of leaves behind me,
A howl in the distance,
No moon in sight...
I am getting scared..
What do I do?
Finally,
A whisper calls out to me.
"Hey, you there?"
I smile and sigh in relief,
Walking over to the voice..
A dark face greets me with
A psychotic grin of his face.
Fear strikes my heart...
A glinting object in his hand send me running,
Carrying my feet as far as I can go.
He has followed me and grabs my hoodie,
Shoving me into an oak.
The silver knife plunges into my gut,
And I fall..
His crazed eyes stare into my frightened ones,
As he leans down and whispers into my ear as
I slowly sink deeper into nothingness,
"This is the way it was meant to be...."
