Indigo Roberts ~ 7:32 AM ~ Roberts' House
"Indigo" my momma shakes me awake. "What? Hm?" I sit up, rubbing my eyes. For a second I forgot that I wasn't in the hospital anymore. But when I realized, I got a rush of serotonin.
"Your grandparents are coming over. Go get ready we're going for brunch. It's fancy so dress for the occasion" she says. "Okay" I nod and get up, turning the shower on.
I do my routine and go in my closet, where all my clothes I got yesterday were washed and folded.
I love my mom.
My phone dings, and I pick it up off the counter, checking to see who it is.

Me and Violet's friends got along nicely at the beach after Shae tried to hit me. He left early..
Mari's really nice. I'm glad that he stood up for me yesterday.
He's going into senior year this year, so I should be seeing him around when I go to school in a couple days.
I was really nervous about it. Not only was I going to a new school, in a new state, but this is my first time going to school since 5th grade.
It'll be okay, I have Violet.
I pick up a pink satin dress and a little sweater to go over it.
"Indigo!" My mom calls from downstairs. "Almost ready" I reply.
I sit at my vanity desk and turn on one of Jackie Aina's natural makeup tutorials, following with the product I bought yesterday.
I put some curls in my wig and slide my heels on, spraying my face with setting spray and grabbing my purse.
"I'm ready" I say, coming down the stairs. My dad was wearing a dress shirt and slacks and my mom was wearing a dress too.
"You look beautiful baby" my dad says and kisses my cheek. "Thanks Dad" I smile and my mom rolls her eyes.
"I'm not beautiful?" she mocks and my dad mugs her. "You is too I guess" he laughs and I laugh too.
"Let's go yall before we late" my mom says and gets in the car.

"My sweet grand baby!" Grandma says, pulling me into a tight hug. "Hey Gigi" I smile, hugging her back.
"Oh lawd hammercy chile let's hurry up n order so we can get sum food in ya! You skinner than a twig my love!" she sits down and adjusts her pencil skirt.
"Hey Grandpa" I give him a hug too. "Hey Indigo, you look great I'm so glad to see you. How the Lord bless me" he smiles.
I sit down next to my mom as Violet and Auntie Jenni come in the restaurant and sit down.
