Ch.1 Intro

"It's okay really I'm fine"-I said to Johnson who is helping me pick up my books from the floor.
"No it's not he thinks he's some bad ass now"-he says referring to gilinksy.
Hey I'm Victoria but everyone calls me tori. well I live in Omaha and I've been friends with Jack Johnson,skate maloley, and Jack Gilinsky since kindergarten . but since we started our junior year in high school gilinksy doesn't talk to us anymore and he's is very different. I guess people change. he hangs out with the jocks now.
"What happened"-said skate snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Nothing"-I say getting off of the floor.
"Yes something happened"-Jack said getting up aswell.
"Tell me tori"-said skate.
"It's nothing I have to get to class see you Guys at lunch"-I say and walk away.

JACK J P.O.V
"what happened"-asked skate.
"She was getting her books from her locker when Gilinsky come with his crew and pushed her against the lockers then she fell to the ground and they all left laughing, that's when I came to help her"-I say getting mad.
"He's such a dick now, I don't even know who he is anymore"-said skate and we went our separate ways as the bell rang.

TORI P.O.V
I sit in my seat in the front row as all the other students start walking in.
Halfway through the class someone starts throwing grapes at my head calling my name.
"Psst Victoria,psst victoria"-they said and I turn around. next ting I know I get hit with an apple straight in the face.
"Oh sorry didn't mean too"-said Gilinsky and he and all his friends start laughing. The whole class joins the laughter as they point at my face.
"What is going on"-says the teacher turning around.
"Oh my goodness Victoria get your things and go to the nurses office"-she says with wide eyes. I do as told.
I walk into the nurses office and look in the mirror. I started tearing up as I look at the purple mark on my face.
"Oh my goodness sweat heart what happened"-says the nurse examining my face.
"I got hit with an apple"-I said as she handed me an ice pack.
I stayed there until it was time for lunch. the bell rang and I walked towards the cafeteria.
"What the hell is that"-said someone pointing at me and laughing.
I looked around and people we pointing, whispering, and throwing nasty comments.
I sat at my usual table when Jack j and skate join me.
"Tori what happened"-said Jack looking at my face.
"Oh uh I got hit with an apple"-I mumble.
"Who was it"-said Jack j.
"It doesn't matter"-I say.
"It was him wasn't it"-says skate referring to Gilinsky.
I stayed quiet.
"It's was him wasn't it tori"-asked state getting mad.
"Yea"-I mumbled.
"That's it where is he"-he says getting up and looking around.
"Skate sit down"-I say.
"No Tori LOOK AT WHAT HE DID WHERE IS HE"-yells skate.
The cafeteria doors open and there walks gilinsky and his friends.
"There he is"-says skate walking towards him.
He grabs Jack by his shirt and yells at him in his face.
"YOU THINK ITS FUNNY TO HIT A GIRL WITH AN APPLE IN THE FACE"-yells skate.
"You bro what's your problem"-says gilinsky acting like nothing was wrong.
"IM NOT YOUR BRO AND THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU HIT TORI IN THE FACE WITH AN APPLE"-he yells and is about to punch him when Jack and I get get him.
"No skate stop its not worth it"-I say putting my hand on his chest trying to calm him down.
"Bro lets go come on"-says Jack and we walk outside.
"Looks like your not that tough"-says gilinsky as we walk out.
we walk out and sit in the middle of the football field.
"What are you guys doing later"-I ask them.
"Football practice, and you"-they ask.
"Nothing" -I say.
"You should come watch us play and then we can get something to eat"-says jack.
"Yeah sure"-I said and the bell for class rang.
