"Mother, did we have to throw the ball?" (Y/n) asked her mother as Ja'niyah closed her book and placed it on the dresser in front of her. "I know you don't like parties or social events for that matter, but we have to do this for the sole purpose of maintaining our relations with the other kingdoms," Ja'niyah stated as a servant finished doing her hair.

"I mean... I get them coming over for just the gala, but, do they have to stay for a week?" (Y/n) questioned even more. Ja'niyah sighed. "My precious, beautiful, curious child! I'll explain everything once the ball is over!"

She said as she turned around and squishes her daughter's cheeks. "Ma!!" (Y/n) squeaks. Just then, a male servant busted inside the room. "I'm sorry to interrupt, Queen Maleah! But your guests are arriving soon!" The two females stand up quickly as (Y/n) mentally cries.

She follows her mother down the grand hallway and to the main entrance. The palace looked pretty. Silver, black, and gold decorations covered the palace from head to toe. The panther, lion, and elephant statutes were clean and glossy black.

Her ancestor's portraits hung high and proudly. The main entrance consisted of more statues, but this time, they were of powerful warriors that once ruled this beautiful country. The whole palace was a sight to behold. But, (Y/n) liked it more when I shined in the moonlight rather than the sunlight.

Anything that had to deal with nighttime fascinated her. The sounds of horseshoes clacking against the ground drew her attention back to the grand door that was now wide open.

Ja'niyah and (Y/n) walked outside and were greeted by a carriage that was decorated in the finest red, blue, and white material. A servant opened the door and helped a brunette female, around the same age as (Y/n), out of the carriage.

Then came an older woman with green hair. Then, another green-haired male looked around the same age as the first woman, and lastly, a very tall and muscular blond male. (Y/n) hide behind her mother as she grew extremely nervous.

Her mother sighed a little, before ignoring it. The four people turned their attention from the palace to the women in front of them. "It's a pleasure to meet you, King and Queen Toshinori!!" Ja'niyah stated as she held her hands behind her back and held (Y/n)'s shaking ones.

The tall blonde smiled. "The pleasure is all ours, Queen Maleah!!" He boomed. "I would like you to meet my son, Izuku Midoriya-Toshinori, and his future wife, Ochaco Uaraka!!" He said as he pointed at the young couple beside them. They both bowed and smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you!" Uaraka said with a kind smile. Ja'niyah smiled back and greeted her.

"I would also like you to meet my daughter, (Y/n) Maleah! But please don't mind her shyness." She gently nudged (Y/n) to come from behind her. (Y/n) obliged by peeking out of her hiding spot and then stepping into full view. She saw the young couple's eyes widen.

Her chocolate skin glowed in the sun like her mother's, Her eyes were beautiful (E/c) and her hair was vibrant (H/c). Her lips were plump and glossy black from lipstick. And her dress would make any girl envy her.
