"I wanna be your vacuum cleaner
Breathing in your dust
I wanna be your Ford Cortina
I will never rust"

"Did you know, I really love the snow," Taehyung spoke from his bed, leaning on the headboard, face turned towards the window, eyes fixated on the soft white flurries falling outside.

"Yes, yes we do, Taehyunga," Jimin sighed, tapping his fingers against the screen of his phone in quick succession. "We understood it somewhere along the eighty thousand, six hundred and fourty two times you've mentioned it since we first met."

Taehyung smiled sheepishly and turned back to the window pane. Jimin's curses rang behind him while he tried to clear the game level he was stuck on. Outside, the white tufts of January had turned the surroundings into a magical winterland. Snow rested upon the benches like feather cushions, soft and warm. It covered the tall, looming trees in perfect white like a gift wrap.

Taehyung had placed his bed right next to the window right before winters had started, just so he could appreciate the magic of snowfall.

Hoseok offered a cup of hot chocolate to the two.

"Is everyone else still sleeping?" Jimin enquired, not looking up from his game.

"Yoongi hyung is at the studio, and Jin hyung is on a rigorous cleaning spree of his cupboard," Hoseok answered, taking a sip out of his own glass. "Namjoona and Jk are probably still sleeping, though—"

The sound of the door opening cut his words short.

"Wow, did you come straight outta bed?" Hoseok grinned at the maknae who looked like he had been hit by the full force of the Westerlies. His hair was growing tiny sprouts, and his swollen eyes were half shut.

"Mgh," Jeongguk grunted and looked around the room, his eyes locking on Taehyung's bed.

"V Hyungie," he mumbled and darted towards Taehyung, almost pouncing on him and getting into his blanket.
He wrapped his hands around Taehyung's torso and rested his head on Taehyung's stomach, nuzzling gently.

"Namjoon hyung's snores do not let me sleep," he complained, voice muffled.

"You were the one who chose to room with him," Hoseok pointed out, taking a seat on his own bed.

"I did not anticipate him snoring like a whale's call," the youngest mumbled against Taehyung's duvet.

Jimin snickered at the maknae's antics. "He fights us when we say he's a baby but look at him now, cuddling with his V hyungie because someone disturbed his sleepy time."

A middle finger was thrown up in the air with a curse against Taehyung's sweatshirt, making them laugh.

Taehyung finished his hot chocolate and ran his finger's through the maknae's hair, gently tugging at the knots, untangling them. Sometimes, Taehyung forgot Jeongguk was nearly his age. He looked so innocently young most of the time.

He put a stray strand of hair behind the younger's ear, gazing at his serene face.

Jeongguk's breathing became slower, body becoming heavier until he drifted off.

"Are you guys going to the movie tomorrow?" Hoseok asked, voice hushed.

"Ah, dae," Taehyung grinned.

He had been so excited when Sejin had given the two a green pass to go for a movie break together.

Most of Taehyung's and Jeongguk's tastes matched, and it was so easy to fall into the rhythm of each other's likes and dislikes, which was partially why Taehyung had sought the other's company so frequently in the beginning.
