Afterhours of Shock

Soon after they left the trial hall, the group decided to head down to Earth and go to their secret hideout, A dark brown mansion in the middle of an abandoned forest. Once they had arrived they all hurried into the building as they didn't wish to be seen by anyone. But when they got into the building they immediately began to throw streamers around and dance for they had just outsmarted Ace yet once again. Shadow and Aspen then combined a new power that created a disco ball, to give the group some fun colour-changing lights to dance in.

 Sage and Stewart then began to break dance in the light in their new outfits Sage had bought a Corset and black Converse with a small Pride flag made of beads on them and not to forget a new sweater and baggy jeans. Stewart, on the other hand, had bought a new Sweater and new pair of jeans, and some Nike shoes, the two were in the centre of the small dance circle that had just been formed as the others watched in awe as the two began to dance like their lives depended on it. After everyone was done dancing for a bit the friends went to the kitchen for some Oreo Ice Cream cake to celebrate after half an hour of talking and wrestling Sage introduced the friend group to his pet turtle Sir Toquito El Taco.

The group almost instantly stopped all movement and just stared at the turtle in complete awe complementing Sage on how cute his turtle was. Sage then caught everyone's attention to him when he asked everyone to look at Sir Toquito El Taco once again so he could show everyone what else the turtle could do. Sage then pressed a tile on the turtle's shell and instantly guns and grenades began to pop out of his back. The others stared at the turtle in complete disbelief and began to ask Sage where he found the turtle. Sage just turned to them and laughed saying he found the turtle while he was walking down the street one night a decided it would be best to give the poor turtle a cozy home to live in. The others then began to nod their heads in approval of Sage's actions and the kind heart they had towards the turtle. 

But then a couple of minutes later Sage walked into the dining room and heard Aspen muttering to themself. Sage decided it would be best if he kept his presence on the down low just to make sure everything was ok with Aspen. After like fifteen minutes of hearing Aspen mutter he concluded that he should help Aspen and see if they were ok. He slowly and cautiously walked towards Aspen and tapped them on the shoulder to see if they were alright. Aspen quickly turned around with their eyes flashing a faded reddish black. 

Sage immediately jumped backwards as Aspen tried to stab him with the knife they were holding. Sage then proceeded to grab the two katanas that were on the wall in self-defence hoping he wouldn't have to hurt Aspen. Aspen's feet then began to slowly leave the floor as they laughed like a maniac. In the moments following Aspen's outfit changed.

in mere seconds by the time Aspen was going to attack Shadow and Ash were already in the way of them. "Aspen, you better tell us WHAT THE FUCK is happening right now!" Ash said in a slightly frightened tone "Why I thought you'd never ask." Aspen said smirking devilishly "You see I'm the highest god on Olympus, I just wasn't allowed to take the throne until the day I turned sixteen which as you all know is today July thirty-first. Meaning I now control Olympus and how it runs and I've been manipulating Orma since I was thirteen so that everything would just slowly fall into place from there." 

"That's part of the reason I've been in the library more than usual lately it's because I've been practicing spells and curses as well as finding the most sacred thing of my people the Castle of Darkness and fun fact Shadow the reason you have your Shadowy wielding abilities is because you are partially a dark fairy.  That is why I need you to come with me you are the other half of the key to the Principality of Dark Shadows since you are part of my clan." Aspen explained with a smirk 

"There is one other thing that I have to do for this whole plan to work." Aspen added 

"What?" the others asked at the same time

"All of you need to die." Aspen said slyly while unsheathing their sword

"WHAT!" the others shouted in horror

Aspen charged at the shocked group with their sword ready to slit all of their little throats. Aspen was just about to slice Griffin to bits when Ash blocked Aspen's sword and with that, a brutal fight broke out between the two young gods. Ash then yelled at the others to leave all of them left except Shadow. Shadow then charged towards Ash with a dark sword he had created.

"What are you doing?!" Ash cried

"Doing what I have to so I can finally find out who I am meant to be! I'm sorry Ash!" Shadow said with tears forming in their eyes as their sword lodged in Ash's stomach

Shadow stared at Ash's lifeless body that lay motionless on the marble flooring blood oozing across the tiles. "Come on Shadow we need to leave." Aspen said standing at the doorway slightly looking back at Shadow and Ash with a single tear falling from their eye. 

Aspen's reasons: 

"No no no. I can't get my feelings wound up in this mission. Especially not my romantic feelings I need to keep it cool because look at what happened again, a person I loved ever so dearly has gotten hurt again. This is why I will be alone forever, I can't love someone without them getting hurt as well as myself. I'm so naive when it comes to understanding I can never truly love someone because I have never learned to love myself. I could never succeed in being someone's lover. I spend most nights crying myself to sleep because I can't process why I'm like this I have done almost everything right barely make mistakes yet I still have terrible luck with the one thing I yearn for most.

 I just want to feel the joy of being someone one and only, sitting by the fireplace laying with them, holding hands walking through the park together holding hands, or just laying on the soft grass outside holding their hand and gazing at the stars feeling accomplished and that I've finally met the one who will care for me till my last breath. Yet I feel as if it will never happen too many heartbreaks, sleepless nights, lonely valentines, and sad sad silence it's all just too much to handle. I will never be good enough for someone to love me forever. I'm a terrible person I killed my family for a chance to live and now my second partner the one person who loved me and made me feel perfect. I will forever be a lonely Dark Fairy who In reality has done nothing but suffer."

"Aspen wake up!" Shadow said shaking Aspen's shoulder

 "I'm up what do you need Shadow?" Aspen said forgetting their sadness as if nothing happened 

"What do I need? I need you to get us out of here!" Shadow said pointing to the doorway

Aspen understood and grabbed Shadow's hand leading them far away from the house.
