A Poem for Myself

I am once a kid, a kid who is confused.

In which path I must take, two ways in a route.

Love they said emerging, money wins the line.

Yet, whatever it is...

Mostly, everyone pays a dime.

I am once a kid

A kid who seldom respond.

Too mush how's and too much why's

Whose the conqueror of the land?

They kept praying of forgiveness

Thus, why planted hatred?

If there's only one destination,

why plenty of domination?

I am once a kid,

Once an innocent child

Drunken by reality's wrath and sinful desires..

Until I've grown as a man

who wonders who  I am?

Still confused about the world

And how human plays the chance.
