The last three weeks have possibly been the worst weeks of my entire fucking life. The Russians and Americans have gotten stronger and are attacking us everywhere they can. Along with that, living with Milena has been harder than I anticipated, everywhere I go in the house, I can see traces of her. From the little flowers and decorations she's been adding, to the extra shoes by the front door. I've never lived with a woman permanently, so this is extremely different for me, every so often, I would see Milena walking around in the kitchen or watching tv. Every time I see her, something in me tightens up and I feel as though I am about to be set on fire.

A loud voice echoes throughout the room. All the men listen intently while pulling on their gear, we have gotten a tip off towards a Russian base. Our aim is to raid the base, and hopefully take a few of them captive to get some information out of them. Strapping on my final gun, Dante walks into the room, nodding his head, signalling the trucks are ready to go. Walking out of the room, I hear the boots of my men walking behind me. The armoured trucks are parked outside as I instructed. I started splitting off all my men into the trucks in groups of seven.

In the truck I was in, there was a certain buzz of excitement, we haven't been this close to the Russian's in months and I could tell everyone was itching to get their hands on them. The truck started moving, the drive to the warehouse the Russian's were in was about an hour away from our base.

Once we started getting closer to the warehouse, we had to park the vans off to the side of the building so no one would see us. I already knew the whole structure of the warehouse inside out thanks to Alessandro. He was our main intelligence for the Russians. For some time, he worked inside the Russian Mafia as a mole for us, he lasted in the Mafia for a while but he was soon uncovered. He had to leave as quick as possible otherwise he would've been tortured and killed. Alessandro planned this whole ambush, down to the very last details of where the bathrooms were in case anyone was going to shit themselves. Alessandro was also an incredible hacker. He is the one who is going to be able to let us into the building without anyone detecting us.

Walking around the side of the warehouse, I take in the rusted stance of it. The walls look extremely old and rusted, as if they would crumble at the slightest flick. The ground we were walking on was a mixture of old concrete, dirt, pebbles and occasional patches of grass. In theory, this is the perfect hideout for a notorious mafia, it's far from any civilization and it looks old enough anyone would assume it's an abandoned factory. If I didn't know why I was here, I would assume this building is completely empty and has been for the past hundred years. I have to give credit to the Russians, they are smart, but not as smart as us.
