Donghyuck and his family were invited over to the Lee family of Oceania for dinner. What he didn't know was to come by the end of this dinner. The Lee family of Avendalle had just entered the kingdom oceania. As it was the 21st century, their family had took a limo up to the castle. " I see why they call it Oceania" Jaehyun's voice brought Donghyuck's attention to how the castle was quite literally on water. King Lee-Jung Jaehyun was one of Donghyuck's bestfriends and not too long ago had he became his brother in law after marrying Donghyuck's older brother Lee-Jung Taeyong.

The former king and queen of Avendalle also known Donghyuck's parents. Chaesun and Dongmin had let Taeyong take over the kingdom after falling in love and getting married to Jaehyun. Since Taeyong was male they thought it was better for Taeyong to take over rather than letting Queen Oh Irene of Elastra, Donghyuck and Taeyong's older sister take over. Irene had married Donghyuck's now brother in law Oh Sehun when she was around Donghyuck's age just like Taeyong did but here they were still attending dinners all together.

The family had got got out the limo one by one and were then escorted into the castle by what they were guessing to be a servant. They followed the servant to the dining room where they found the other Lee family standing up waiting for them. "The Lee family of Avendalle!"The servent introduce before walking away. Everyone had introduced themselves before King Minjae said "We are so happy you could make it.." Donghyuck's dad smiled as well. "Its a pleasure to be here." Donghyuck's dad replied.

"Jeno and Mark why don't you go show Donghyuck around the castle while us adults talk?" Queen Jisun had suggested. Mark and Jeno nodded and gestured for Donghyuck to follow them. For majority of the tour Jeno the youngest of the Lee family had talked the most. Mark, the oldest had been more on the quite side. "So Donghyuck what brings you and your family here.?" Jeno questioned. "I'm not too sure...my maid pretty much just said I had to be ready in an hour...Oh! i'm sorry that was informal of me." Donghyuck apologized but it made Jeno chuckled and from the corner of Donghyuck's eye he could see Mark with a slight smirk, he wondered what was so funny. "It's okay we don't always speak this formal." Jeno reassured the younger. "So does hyung talk at all?" Donghyuck tried to tease Mark but the older didn't budge he remained straight faced. "I don't really like these dinners and rather keep talking to minimum with someone I probably won't see anytime soon." Mark said in a cold tone and started walking ahead. Donghyuck was shocked as he never had someone speak to him like that. "Sorry he can be a bitch sometimes" Jeno joked. Donghyuck was shocked to hear Jeno curse but somehow it made him smile.

Jeno and Donghyuck continued to converse casually while Mark listened. Once they made their way back to the dining hall they started speaking formal with each other. They had came just in time since dinner was being served. They took their seats and unfortunatly Donghyuck ended right across the cold prince. "how was the tour Donghyuck?"King Minjae asked. "Oh it was just lovely...I wish I could wake up to the Ocean everyday." Donghyuck smiled. "Well that just might happen. "Mrs. Lee said that made the youngest three furrow their eyebrows in confusion.

"I'm sorry can you explain further on that statement?" Donghyuck asked clearly confused but thanked a waiter that had served them food. "Well we hoped to talk about this after dinner but..Will you like to take the lead honey?" Donghyuck's mom asked her husband. Donghyuck's dad nodded but this was just making donghyuck nervous as he wondered why his mom couldn't even say it. "So The Lee's had thought it would be nice to unite our kingdoms.." Donghyucks's dad started. "Oh so you want to join forces?" Donghyuck asked now getting what was happening.

"Not quite...we want you to Marry our son.." Queen Jisun said. "I'm having a hard time understanding...I'm only 19..which one am I meant to marry? Donghyuck questioned feeling unsure with the situation. "We know your young but we're getting into an old age and we'd like Mark to take over with a lovely husband like you." Queen Jisun said hopeful to recieve a postive answer back. "You want me to marry him?" Donghyuck and mark said at the same time and pointed at each other. "I'm not marring a stranger dad." Mark said  with a cold look in his eyes.

"I'm also not okay with this" Donghyuck added on. "I'm afraid this is not up for discussion.It's King orders." King Minjae said. "I'm sorry but i'm not from your kingdom..so wouldn't my king or kings have to sign off on this?" Donghyuck questioned and looked over at jaehyun and Taeyong with pleading eyes. Taeyong nor Jaehyun could bring themselves to look at the younger. "Me and Jaehyun had came to an agreement that this will be best for our kingdoms." Taeyong said in monotone. Taeyong and Jaehyun knew better then to look at Donghyuck because they knew they'll see the hurt in his eyes. "I suppose we have no choice then." Mark said bitterly before going back to eating. Everyones attention went to Donghyuck but Donghyuck only had an expressionless face and as well back to eating.

"Well we have set the date 3 months from now and we'd like you guys to plan it together which would help you guys get to know each other and eventually fall in love." Donghyuck's mom said. Donghyuck knew better then to argue with his mother in front of people who weren't his family so he just bit back  on his tongue. "So you want us to hangout almost everyday for three months?" Mark asked. "also have at least 1 date weekly." Queen Jisun added. after that the table fell silent as everyone ate.

Once finished everyone made their way to the front of the castle. "We hope you'd be open minded with this arrangement and learn to be comfortable with this as we welcome you with oepn arms" Queen Jisun talked happily and squeezing Donghyuck's arm. Donghyuck just put on a fake smile. "Oh of course I'm sure you guys will be great to me." Donghyuck voice sounded cheery but he really wasn't in the mood for any of this and all he felt right now was betrayal and anger.  Donghyuck locked eyes with Mark before he bowed to the family and joined his own family in the car. His family expected to hear Donghyuck's anger towards them but they were shocked to see Donghyuck just sit silently while looking out the window. This wasn't like him, who was usually cheerful and they all knew it was their fault.

They arrive to  Avendalle castle. "I'm going to bed now...." Donghyuck said tiredly and was about head up the stairs when His mother called his name.Donghyuck turned around to his family. "Mom please...I-" Donghyuck started but was cut off. "We know you're mad-" donghyuck's mom started but now Donghyuck cut her off. "Being mad is an understatement im furious that you guys are making me marry someone as cold as that guy and not even wanting my say in it!" Donghyuck yelled with tears feeling his eyes. "I'm supposed to pick who I fall in love with not you guys!" Donghyuck yelled.

"Donghyuck don't speak to us like that." Taeyong said sternly. "You don't have room to talk, you may be king but its not fair your forcing me into this especially when you got to fall in love.! Oh and Jaehyun such a good bestfriend you are." Donghyuck went up to his room leaving everyone stunned. When he got to his room he slammed the door shut and finally got to cry his heart out. He was closest to his brother since forever and he just couldn't belive Taeyong would do anything like this to him and along with Jaehyun agreeing to it. Donghyuck heard a soft knock on his door. 

Donghyuck wiped his face and fixed his hair before getting up and opening the door. Irene stood there with a frown on her face and her arms open as she came up into Donghyuck's room. Donghyuck hugged her tightly as he sobbed. Irene helped them get to his bed as she just let him cry and rubbed his back. "I don't know if we ever told you since you were young  but my marriage to Sehun was arranged." Irene said once Donghyuck calmed down. "Really? But you guys look so in love." Donghyuck said surprised at what she said. "Well we ended up falling in love in the end." Irene smiled. Donghyuck laid his head on his sister's lap. "That Mark guy... I don't think I can fall in love with him, he's handsome yeah but he's cold and I would have rather his brother who's much nicer." Donghyuck chuckled and Irene was just happy to see the younger in a somewhat better mood.

"Don't give up on him yet" Irene encouraged Donghyuck with a smile. So Irene talked to her brother joking and playing around til he fell asleep. she helped take of his shoes and tucked him in the cover. "I'm sorry you have to go through this" Irene whispered before leaving the room and closing the door. Little did she nor donghyuck know about Taeyong watching the whole situation feeling nothing but guilt inside.
