Richelle kept a running list of things she knew.

1. Her parents should have divorced when she was three - that was a long story that not even Noah knew the full details of.

2. Dance was her safe haven and if she didn't have it in her life, she wouldn't know what to do.

3. She was allergic to shellfish and sometimes feelings as well. Jacquie had always teased her about the second one.

And most recently.

4. Her feelings for Ozzy were a fucking pain in her ass.

Like seriously, of all the boys at TNS, she had to gain feelings for Ozzy. Hell gaining feelings for fucking Heath would have been better.

It would caused even more drama between A-Troupe and B-Troupe because everyone knew about Izzy and Heath and how they were apparently the new Emily and Hunter - not Jiley, no one (looking at you Kingston and Lily) could be the new Jiley. But still.

Richelle as much as she found relationships boring and predictable since her short lived one with Elliot, wasn't an idiot and thus knew Heath was off limits. Besides, she wasn't a cougar despite what Kenzie said when she was teasing her.

But still. What the hell? Ozzy, of all people?

Though maybe this was fitting. After all, he had spent forever "being in love" with her. Maybe it was her turn to suffer.

Case in point, the boys were working on small group dance, and of course because they were teenage boys, they were working on it shirtless - muscles full on exposed. Richelle knew logically all the boys were muscular. After all, they all worked out so they could do partner work and not worry about ripping muscles but Jesus.

A shirtless Ozzy? Not something she had been anticipating seeing.

"Staring much?" Kenzie whispered to her and Richelle turned to glare at the black girl. "Shut up. You're looking as well."

Kenzie snorted, bumping her hip against Richelle's. "You should be glad the boys aren't paying attention and that Ozzy's oblivious." Richelle's heart skipped a beat. How did Kenzie know she was looking at Ozzy? Was she that obvious?

"I don't know what you are talking about." She said in response and Kenzie simply raised an eyebrow at her.

"Would have surprised me. Besides, I thought you swore off boys and everything after the whole shitshow with Elliot?"

Which well. Technically Kenzie wasn't wrong. Richelle had said that. But that had been two and a half years ago when the wounds from that breakup were still very much present and painful.

Getting back into the dating scene wasn't a bad thing? Right?

Before she could answer that internal question, the boys were done dancing and everyone was clapping and cheering. Piper ran up to Finn and he spun her around in a hug before kissing her sweetly.

Richelle as much as she hated to admit it, knew that she was jealous. And it was her own fault. If she could just own up to her feelings maybe she wouldn't feel like she was missing out so much.

Or maybe she would end up heartbroken again. Whatever the case was, she needed to figure it out. Before Nationals.
