A week pass and it was pretty good but Barbatos would constantly tease Mammon and just freak him out for the fun of it.

And Mammon was freak out because he could never tell if Barbatos was serious or not and never met someone so into him. And the fact it was Barbatos made it weird.

But also besides that they were getting along and learning more about each other.

And today they were going out into town to do some looking around for things to help them

During this they had different clothes on and they had a hood capes on so they wouldn't be so noticeable.

Barbatos : such a nice place I would come here more often if I wasn't the most wanted in Devildom"

Mammon : yeah...."

Barbatos : anyway let's split up to cover more ground"

Mammon : what am I looking for?"

Barbatos : ....since you don't know what to look for just look for dinner"

Mammon : i don't have money?"

Barbatos : your a fast runner?"

After this Barbatos split off from Mammon and left him alone.

Later as Mammon was walking around looking for food. He heard people talking about a certain demon that sounded a lot like Barbatos.

He then decided to walk over to them and ask about him to get a better idea of who Barbatos used to be.

Mammon : hey are you guys talking about
Barb-!?

Demon 1 : Shush!! We don't talk about him! We especially don't bring up his name!"

Mammon : why?"

Demon 2 : you haven't heard of him? He's a monster a true evil monster"

Demon 3 : he's always causing trouble. He makes bad things happen to people by predicting their future. "

Demon 4 : he's an ugly beast all he wants is to cause chaos and destroy everything"

Demon 5 : it's no wonder why everything hates him. He is not to be trusted he's manipulative and lies "

Mammon : I see...."

After this Mammon walked away
To find Barbatos.

Later as he was walking around he found him and to his surprised saw him with a group of kids showing magic tricks with his magic.

The kids were laughing and smiling loving the show. And Barbatos was smiling seeming so calm and gentle.

Demon kid 1 : your so cool Mr!"

Demon kid 2 : what else can you do!?"

Barbatos : well I can do anything"

Demon kid 4 : so cool!"

Mammon then walked over and Barbatos said.

Barbatos : sorry I have to go now"

After this the kids waved goodbye and left and after this Mammon ask.

Mammon : find anything?"

Barbatos : nope lost track. But anyway you mentioned you live in an old mansion?"

Mammon : yeah why?"

Barbatos : we should check there it could help. "

Mammon : got it"
