Valentine and Sophia stood side by side, Sophia looked at her watching nodding at valentine to make the announcement.
Valentine's voice pierced through the silence of the corridors bouncing off each wall
"LUNCH~! Hurry up before you get none." Valentine smiled with malicious intent
Valentine smiled at Sophia knowing what they made for dinner, and how they would have to eat it. Otherwise they would starve, and get punished for not being at optimal performance in their powers.
All the children quickly walked down the corridor trying to smell if they made something nice or rotten. All their faces quickly changed when they lined up in the cafeteria seeing the food. It was mouldy cabbage, with chunky and skin filled tomato soup and then with a side of what looked like rotten milk. The children just had to endure it, and eat otherwise they would be beaten to an inch of their life.
Valentine pulled Sophia aside to talk
"We need to deal with Paranormal she is now taking the souls of people for "fun" next it will be the other children in the projects and they are such a hassle to replace" She narrowed her eyes directly into Sophia's
"It just a bit of harmless fun~, its not like she would hurt one of us, and I can always find replacements for people especially the projects who are still quite weak." Sophia's smile beamed brightly masking the evil behind her eyes
One of the Children started to choke on the tomato skins in the soup Sophia and Valentine looked at each other smiling, as the other children panicked to try and help their friend they started to turn blue! That's when Sophia and Valentine intervened and smacked his back at the same time, extremely hard that everyone fell silent as they heard their spine crack in half.
"That tomato soup killed someone its vile! We do not want to eat it anymore" Sapphire boldly spoke trying to mask the fear behind her voice
"That is our Mothers recipe~ you repulsive child" Sophia snapped staring into Sapphires eyes
As Sophia Raised her fist about to punt Sapphire in the mouth, Valentine grabbed her hand carefully do not worry. They will die soon. Sophia lowered her hand smiling at valentine
"What?! But Mummy! I thought you where going to take me to the house, to live with you Sophia and the other children.." Sapphire sulked trying to calm herself down
Sapphire Lunged at Valentine yanking at her hair crying and begging to be let into the house as she fell to her knees yanking on valentines dress crying onto it leaving tear splotches on valentines dress sapphire wiped her nose on her mothers dress crying more clinging to her.
Valentine lifted up sapphire chin in a comforting motion, before she slapped her. Leaving a big red mark on her face.. bound to leave a bruise and she pelted Sapphire in the stomach with her heels leaving sapphire coughing up blood holding her stomach in pain
"You EVER wipe your snotty nose and cry on me again and Ill leave you in paranormal's room till I either find you dead, or clinging to and inch of your forsaken life." Valentines face had the most disgusted look on it that Sapphires hopes and dreams was smashed and left to collect dust.
Sophia smiled watching the whole scene taking a picture so she could always remember this moment
"Lunch is over go back to your rooms before I have to force you~" Sophia smiled at the children
