Phony Princess

Chapter 1 : Mission impossible

Rustling of the leaves and heavy pants, owls chirping and loud steps is all i can hear in the moonlit night.

I must get this job done so i could get the money as a reward. After all i would have to do anything what it takes to survive this outlaw life by being an member of the notorious dark guild called, Black Crows hunted by the Imperial Knights.

The guild that i have been a member for is known for it's ruthlessness and abilities that is
against the law of the empire.

For example, us the newbies are in the lower ranks.

The other higher ranks is being part of the special party called Night Ravens and of course the highest rank.

The guild master, which i don't know who or what his face is because i hadn't met him. From the rumors that i heard he is very strong---and kind of weird.

Well I've been here for over two years now and i still haven't got promoted to be one of the higher ups.

"HEYYYY!!!" 

Amy suddenly appeared in the fog whilst on top of the trotted horse. You quickly jumped of the horse and went speeding off ahead into the depths of the forest. 

"Your luring the enemy towards us you weirdo!" you said in an hushed town whilst pinching Amy's shoulder. She let out an laugh and nodded.

"THERE ARE THE THIEVES!"

The pursuers yelled behind us catching up in their horses.

"Amy, full speed ahead."

I took my bow and my arrow from my back and quickly lit the arrow on fire and shoot it against the men behind us. 

"WE'LL FIND YOU, YOU WENCH!"

The man yelled and stopped his men to retreat.

You and Amy both laughed and sped off. Piece of cake, they were too quick to give up!

A few hours later........

You both arrived in the base of the Black Crows. At first sight it may seem like an ordinary public library but it exactly isn't.

"We're here to go to the special section at the shelf 555." 

Amy said and the old lady squinted her eyes and nodded. 

"Go on ahead." 

You both turned away and started walking onto the depths of the library. There are atleast an estimated 1 million books filled in the library. The smell of books and dust fills in the air as you passed by shelves and the people silently reading.

Finally you both arrived in the biggest shelf, the entrance to the base.

Scanning the surroundings Amy gestured an "Go" and you pulled the hidden door amongst the camouflaged books that led onto a spiral staircase downstairs.

I lighted an candle onto the lamp and started to walk a hundred steps downstairs. 

Mice's, roaches, bats and other creatures roamed in the surroundings.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!" 

Amy squealed as a rat passes by her feet as she quickly jumped of onto your back causing you both to fall in the stairs and slumped yourselves onto the floor.

"You little shit."

You cursed as you pushed her away and standing up. The guildmembers laughed and cackle as you both humiliatingly looked away.

"I knew that someone will slipped again in the stairs."

A black haired woman appeared carrying a tray of empty beer  bottles. You let out an tsk and sat yourself in an empty seat.
