Chapter 5 : Catastrophe

A certain man's point of view

You kneeled down in defeat as you were in front of the Emperor. How could I let this happen.

I failed as a knight, noble and as the shield of my princess.

"If you don't find her in 1 month, you will be dismissed as head of the royal knights."

The Emperor stated as he look down upon my kneeling body. I have disgraced the name of the imperial family and worst, causing a war that will shed blood.

"U-understood your highness."

Glares of the nobility and the Emperor's gaze fell on you causing you to become weak in your knees.

"It seems the mighty Sir Samuel Siegfried has gotten weak."

One of the higher nobles sneered and the nobility laughed as an agreement. You walked away in shame and turned to the king and bowed once again as you were about to leave.

Exiting the throne room you find yourself in the palace's royal gardens. Staring at the fountain with your mind blank

"I greet the 4th imperial princess Catherine Amelia Diana Amaryllis."

You greeted the princess and bowed at her.


The princess curtsied and sat me down in the bench and asked about the progress in the search for her sister. Holding her tears back, she solemnly said :

"Even though my sister is like that, i praise you for always being patient towards her, Samuel."

"S-she's only 18 and she has many more years to enjoy her life..." she added

Princess Catherine sobbed and her lady in waiting and maids comforted her.

"We need to go back your majesty."

The Lady in waiting said and they both started walking away along with the maids.

I will make sure to find her, your majesty. For the sake of the people and in the empire. I, Samuel Denver Siegfried pledge to find my princess.



Sighing, you started going in your way to the royal stables. I mustn't loose hope and taint the name of the 6th princess and the empire.


After arriving at the stables to get my horse. A few moments after mounting it, i took an black hooded robe that was hanging by the door and left the grounds of royal palace to search for clues in finding the missing royal.

As you exit the gate many newspapers, posters and gossip about the princess. The people of the empire looked disappointed and sad at the fact that the empire will go to war again.

You find yourself in your horse out of the outskirts of the town, wandering in the evergreen forest. You sat yourself in the grass and remember what happened that night.

The 6th princess, you, two other knights and the coachman were present at the incident. It was a stormy night so the main road to the royal palace's ballroom so the coachman took the shortcut which is an old road built in the old ages.

The ride seemed to be going well at first but a boulder of rock fell down top of the cliff causing the carriage to fall of the cliff.

After that incident i woke up that morning to find the two knights and coachmen dead due to injuries and the princess gone.

While replaying on what happened that night you suddenly heard a lovely voice a few steps away. Walking towards were the angelic voice came from is where a naked brown haired woman with tantalizing emerald eyes dancing amongst the rocks and humming.

My eyes widened as I saw who it was.
