Chapter 4- Day 2.5- At Haru's Place, It Gets Rather Hot.

When we were done swimming we went back to the train station. Of course Haru was sad to leave the pool but it was getting dark and the janitor threw us out. After riding the train for a while it was time for Nagisa and Rei to get off.

- Bye Haru-chan, Mako-chan!

- Good night Haruka-senpai and Makoto-senpai.

- Bye! See you after new years!

After we waved goodbye the doors closed and we were off home.

Haru and I stepped off the train and started to walk home in the cold. When we started to walk up the stairs to our houses Haru suddenly stopped.

- Makoto?

- Hm? What is it?

- Wanna sleep over at my house? It's been a while.

Eeeeh?!? Haru wants me to sleep at his place?!

My heart started to race at the thought of us being alone in his house.

- E-ehm. O-okay! I'll just go and get some stuff at my house and I'll be right there.

- Ok.

We then parted and I walked up to my house and went inside.

- Hey mom! I'm home!

- Oh. Welcome back.

- Uhm mom? Can I sleep over at Haru's place?

- Yeah, sure. It has been a while, hasn't it?

- Yeah. Well I'm just gonna grab some stuff and I'll be going.

- Ok. But don't make to much noise. Ran and Ren are finally asleep.

- I'll try.

I walked up to my room and took out a bag and put some clothes in there and a toothbrush. And then I headed over to Haru's.

When I walked inside I found Haru in the kitchen.

- Hey, what are you making?

- Mackerel.

Ah, of course mackerel.

- Want some help?

- Yeah. Can you set the table?

- Mh.

I grabbed some plates and glasses and went to the living room.

After some time, Haru came out with the food.

- Itadakimasu.

- Mmm. It tastes good as always~

- Well of course. It's mackerel. Mackerel is always good.

Haru always drifts away when he talks about mackerel. It's rather cute. He speaks so fondly of it.

- Hehe. That's so typically you.

I smiled teasingly at him and he just gave me his "no, it's not!. Well yeah you're right" look.

- So, why did you want me to sleep over?

- Well, I just bought a gaming console and I wanted to play some games.

- Eeh! I never expected this to ever happen. Why did you buy it?

- I guess I get rather bored living by myself so I bought it to entertain myself. Wanna play when we're done eating?

- Yes!

I finally get to play video games with Haru! It sure has been a while.

When we finished dinner we went up to Haru's room. We sat down and I could just feel my blood rushing from excitement.
