Haru's POVI woke up to the sound of an obnoxious, beeping sound. I wanted it to stop, but my body was heavy, and aching, I didn't want to move.
Slowly, I pry my eyes open, looking around. My surrounding were white, it was dark though, no lights, looking to the right I can see window, seeing it was dark out.
I looked to my left, seeing a lot of wires hooked to a weird machine, I follow the wires with my eyes, slowly the beeping started to quicken as the wires lead to me, panic rising within me as I see them connected to my arm.
Suddenly the aching I had felt before vanishing, as I quickly sit up, Adrenalin running threw me. I pull the wires out my arm, letting out a yelp, as it was not a pleasant feeling.
I heard sounds of running down a hallway behind the closed door, as I stood up making my way to the window, noticing I'm only on the first floor, I quickly opening humming out, just as the door opens, running like my life depended on it.
Kakashi's POV
I watched as the girl dumped out the window as I was making my way to my apartment, letting out a sigh, making a small mental note ,I have been doing that a lot since I've found her.I quickly go in front of the terrified girl, and much like she did with the tree, she ran into me, though this time I made sure she didn't fall, and she didn't pass out, probably because she actually had some sleep.
The girl looked at me with big, red, horrified, as my own eyes widening a bit before softening at the sight of it. I've only seen true terror like that in a child's eyes only a few times.
I slowly, trying not to make any sudden moves, not wanting to scare her more, bend down to her level. Looking at her with a closer as smile, even though she can't see most my face, it gets the point across. "It's okay, no one is here to hurt you." I said as softly as I could, with her staring at me untrustingly and fearful.
She slowly started to calm down, looking at me, her gaze never leaving, as if she looked away, or even blink, I may slit her throat or worse. After a while her small, quiet, low, but soft voice asked, "Where am I?" There was no stutter to which I was surprised.
Haru's POV
I stared at the man in front of me, with gravity defiant, white hair, all but one eye was covered by a mask, and his head band. After I've collected all my thoughts, and my panic slowly started to calm down, I finally asked a question I've been wondering for a while, "Where am I?" I refuse to stutter, my little episodes was enough to make me feel shame, for letting anyone see me in that state.
"Your in the Hidden Leaf Village, also known as Konoha." He said lazily, as he was Looking back at me. I realize this is the place Orochimaru wanting me to be, and I inwardly grimace, but on the out side I gave a small nod.
Feeling myself much more calmer now, I asked another question, though my voice much more calmer and stronger then the last time, but still scratchy, as my throat was trying, not having water for days on end, "Who are you?". He stares at me for a minute, as if only just now coming to the realization he hasn't introduced himself to me. "I am Kakashi Hataki." , he said this smoothly, as if not having a care in the world. "And what's yours?" He asks after a short pause. I stare at him, not sure if I should say or not, but I go with the former, "Haru." I say bluntly, my gaze never leaving him, he may show my kindness, but that doesn't mean I have to trust him.
He raises his one visible brow, "And your last name?" He asked curiously. "I don't have one." I say, once again bluntly, no emotion showing in my tone, nor my face.
He looked as if he wanted to say something, but didn't, instead he looked up at the sky, and I take a small step back, getting a bit of a distance between us. "It's late, why don't you rest in your hospital room for the night-" he started, but I quickly interrupted him, "I refuse." I say bluntly, void of emotion. "And why is that?" He asked once again with a curious undertone to his mostly overtone. "I don't like it." I stated, still staring at him.
He lets out a sigh, hanging his head slightly, as if he was going to regret what he was planning, "Then will you be willing to stay at my place for the night?" He asked lazily. I stare at him, thinking it over for a moment, figuring it would be better then the hospitals, I gave a small nod.
He nodded and turned around and starts walking, and I silently fallow after him, looking down at the ground, only then realizing that I ran all that way with no shoes on.
