Haru's POV
We walked for about five minutes, before we came to an appointment complex. I watched silently as he walked up a flight of stairs.
Once he was at the top of the stairs he turned, and looked at me confused as to why I stoped following him. I tilt my head slightly, then look back down at the stairs, before slowly walking up them following him to the second floor. Once I had caught up to him he walked to a door with 205 on it, locking it, before walking in.
I silently walked in after him, looking around the apartment, analyzing my surroundings, and taking not of ever possible exit just in case I need to make a run for it. "It's not much, but it's comfortable." He said boredly, as he was looking at me, his hands lazily put in his pockets as I turn to look at him.
I gave him a small nod in response, and it seemed that made him feel awkward as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Anyways, you can sleep in the bed, I'll see on the couch..." He said, but he trailed off as I made my way to the couch, plopping myself on it. He sighs, as he shakes his head, "Or not." He then walked out the room before coming back with a blanket and a pillow, setting them on the couch next to me. "You can use those to sleep." He said boredly, my only reason ones again being a small nod.
With one last sigh he walked out the room, leaving me alone, to my thoughts. I wasn't going to sleep any time soon, so I looked around for to find something to do, and landed on deciding to clean the place up, it wasn't a big mess, I just went to deep clean the please, making sure to stay quiet as I do. Once I was done it was around 4am so I had some more time to kill, so I went over to the nicely cleaned, and neaten book shelf, and grabbed some of the books, he has this whole collection of this series, so it much be good.
I grabbed the first three and started reading. It was weird, but the more I read them the better they got.
—time skip—
I was in the middle of the third book when I heard rustling, I figured it was Kakashi getting ready for the day and looked at the clock and it read 9:30am.
I put the other two books away before contenting to read the third book as Kakashi walked into the living room. "Good morning." I mumbled, my nose still in the book. "Good mor-" he stopped mid sentenced, so I looked up at him with a raised brow, "is something wrong?" I asked my voice still void of emotion.
His face looked as if his soul had left him, before he coughed and straightened up, "You shouldn't be reading that, it's not..age appropriate." He said, his voice sounding a bit awkward at the end. "I don't see a problem it's a good book" I said bluntly, my face blank, as I stare at him tilting my head slightly. "It's just not something someone your age should read." He said walking up going to take the book, but right before he could I moved it away quickly, his one visible eye widening a bit.
"I want to finish it I'm almost done." I said bluntly, but I gave him a slight glare, as if daring him to try to take it again.
He gave out a sigh mumbling something about not getting paid enough for this, before shrugging and walking to the kitchen. "You should eat, once we are done we'll go see the Hokage." He said boredly.
I sighed and got up, book and hand, and nose in said book, reading it as I silently walk to the kitchen. Kakashi set two bowls of cereal down on the table, then sat down in front of one. I sat down in front of the other bowl silently eating my food as I read the book.
"How'd did you get to the third one so fast anyways, did you even sleep, the house is clean as well." I set the book down after marking it, as it seems as though Kakashi was trying to hold a conversation. When I looked up I noticed his bowl was already empty, and I raised a brow. "No, I didn't sleep I wasn't tired, so I cleaned because I got bored, and when I was done I started to read, that was about five hours ago." He gave a sigh, before giving a closed eye smile, "Well thank you for cleaning up." He said as I finished up my food, I grabbed our bowls and put them in the sink.
Kakashi got up, hands lazily in his pockets, "Ready to go?" He asked, and I only gave him a silent nod as I didn't feel like talking anymore, and went back to reading, as we left the house.
