With spring in the air
The pink flowers bloom
Long grass like hair
A shine from the moon
The cold's gone away
Rain's here to stay
Until spring brings us
The month of May
April weather's on and off
Rain sometimes, shine others
The dogwoods are blossoming
Like bright, white light
April is here
Bird's songs in my ear
Smells of fresh cut grass
In the yard at my dad's
The pool's almost open
Summer is getting near
For now I'll embrace
All the pretty and pollen in the air
