New-Ness

Mother always says

Never care what others say

Easy enough and pass your time

You sit just like your fine

But you really just died inside

Whispers and giggles fill the air

Chance a glance if you dare

Mock their victory in your thoughts

For they smile as you’re caught

They roar with laughter at your act

You blush by your lack of tact

You melt to the ground and wish it be done

But they won’t stop until they’ve won

You sit quiet and pray they leave

But they stand by and watch you breath

Life is hard when the jokes on you

Life stands by to watch what you do

Why does life have to be so cruel?

To all those kids who are always new
