Camp Cretaceous x reader (On Hold)

Chapter five, part 2

"Bumpy!" I heard Ben shout, making us look towards him and to see him running to... Bumpy.

"And drooly, and smelly." Kenji said, making me nuge him with my good arm. "How do you even know that's the same dinosaur?" He asked like it was too hard to understand that Bumpy is different.

"Omg, you are so dumb. That's Bumpy because of her different sized head bumps. No other dinosaur has those." I said pointing out the obvious.

"Rose is right. Dr. Wu said that she's asymmetrical, but he's wrong that it's bad. And so what if she is asymmetrical? There's nothing wrong with being different, or Bumpy, or getting tired after reading an overly thrilling book! And maybe if her parents had listened to her, she wouldn't have come here and gotten attacked."

"As fun as this reunion is, shouldn't we keep moving South?" Kenji says after Ben's little outburst.

"I'm not spending another hour walking through the jungle hoping we don't run into that Indominus. We need a new plan." Brooklyn said.

"Uh, yeah, obviously we need a new plan. So, I had Darius figure out a new one. Lay it on us bro."

"Okay. So, uh... we need to find somewhere safe nearby. If camp is that way and the park is that way..." Darius said, before gasping, " Isn't Dr. Wu field genetics lab near here? You guys went on the tour. Does this area look familiar?"

"Um, Yeah, yeah, I think it might be over that way." Sammy said, pointing somewhere in the distance.

While the group continued on talking I just got lost in my own thoughts thinking about Maya and all the other dinos that will probably lose their lives because of one dinosaur who thinks killing is fun. I got pulled out of my thoughts when we heard a roar.

"Fine, whatever! Let's just go to the lab. As long as we are moving away from that." Brooklyn said before we started walking.
