I am just sitting at the sofa when I noticed Ran, who is sitting at Ojisan's chair, who is somewhat bothered at something... She gives herself a 'I-wonder-how' look for around 3 to 4 times already in no one in particular. I wonder what is she thinking about...

Well I, Shinichi... err... I mean... Conan, can't help but to be curious. What's on her mind? Is she thinking about her upcoming exams or something? I don't think so... Her examinations just got ended last week.

Since I can't take just looking at her. I went at her position and asked her.

"Oneechan, what's bothering you?", I asked.

"Say, Conan-kun, how do you solve a mystery?", she directly asked. Why is she asking that by the way..?

"Eh? Why are you asking?"

"Can you teach me how to?", it's obvious that she didn't answer me huh? Instead, she just throw me another question. "You know... some hints on how you do it...?"

"Why are you asking, Ran-neechan?", I asked again. Oh c'mon! As if I know the exact answer to give her, right? I just solve cases as I SOLVE CASES! I can't explain that!

"Just tell me! Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase?!"

"W-well, you observe at a place and find for clues.", I answered. That's all I know...

"No, not that! I meant is the exact thing!"

"What do you mean 'exact' thing?", seriously? Why is she asking about this?!

"Just like Math... a formula perhaps?"

So she thinks solving a mystery is just like Math that has a formula?! Well, you might consider it as Math since you are trying to 'solve' something, but that thing having a formula... If solving cases does have a formula then anybody can solve a mystery now...

Oh darn! I have to give her at least a word as an answer! I don't want her to get disappointed...

"Ehehe...", I faked a laugh... It's obvious I could say.

"Oh please Conan-kun! Give me an answer!", she gave a me a 'oh-please-tell-me' eyes. I see sincerity in her face. She is so serious about it! And I'm just here, I know the answer but I don't!

"Why not asked Ojisan? I'm sure he knows it... ", I said that as if I'm telling a 'truth' but inside me I want to vomit after I just said that...

"Otousan? I just asked him that... He said that thing can't be learned... having it is a skill running through his blood..."

Oh, please give a sink this instant! I really wanna vomit! That's what he said to Ran?! Seriously, does he even know what he have said? Tss... that old man...

"Oh..."

"I know right neh Conan-kun... I didn't accept that answer of course! But instead of giving me another answer he just leaved me... Hayz, Otousan..."

I released my eyes through Ran's and look around. I hope that helps in finding an answer.

I saw my 'English Book' on the floor... Hey? I wonder how it got on the floor on the first place?

I walked and picked it up. I scan through the pages of the book. I saw the lesson about writing... Connecting the dots on how to write the letter 'A'...

Wait a minute?! I got it! I have an answer to Ran!

I closed the book, placed it on the table and went back near Ran.
