It was a rainy day, in spring. Salrahn was flying around, searching for creatures to attack, until his best friend, Undoli, walked by.
"Ah, so you actually came back-" Salrahn rolled his eyes.
"I'M SO SORRY! I SHOULD HAVE SAVED YOU WHEN THAT SPIKY THING GRABBED YOUR WING-"
"She was nice." He gave the Undoli a serious look.
"...What?"
"She didn't try to kill me. She simply apologized and asked for an Ani to heal me."
"Well... That's... Good, I guess?..." Undo stared at her friend in disbelief.
Sal simply nodded.
"What about your wing? Is it okay now that-"
She was interrupted by simultaneous roars, mixed with squealing. Salrahn looked over and saw a furious female Parahexilian. He walked to a random Kendyll.
"What's wrong with her?" He tried to talk louder than the noise was.
"A dumb Hellion killed her son!" The Kendyll simply responded before running off.
Salrahn went back to Undo. Wait... WHERE IS SHE?!
He turned around swiftly and saw his friend in the Parahexilian's mouth, about to get killed. Without even thinking, he lowered his head and ran to the Para's stomach, ramming it with the few bones that were sticking out of his head.
The bat-like creature groaned in pain, letting Undoli go. Was it going to attack Sal, now?... Yes it was. The oversized wyvern tried to step on the zombie creature multiple times, always failing.
Salrahn had an idea. He ran around a rock, hoping that the Para would bite it and break its jaws trying to kill anything. His technique was successful. The furious creature had its jaws wide open. It flew everywhere like a panicking moth would, before crashing in a Celeritas, knocking out both of the creatures.
The zombified flier helped Undoli to get up before the Parahexilian would wake up.
The Celeritas wasn't too long to wake up. Realizing there was the angry Para next to it, it flew off quickly.
The spooky duo walked away and headed to redwoods. Therefore, they were being watched... Growls could be heard in bushes, which Undo and Sal didn't unhear. The possessed doll-like creature got closer to her friend.
Eight Pernirexes came out of the bushes, surrounding the two buddies. One Pernirex wasn't very dangerous, but a whole pack was deadly to even the toughest of all creatures. The small red creatures claimed the redwoods as theirs, and theirs only. They weren't gonna share this land with anyone, anytime soon.
Salrahn and Undoli probably thought it was the end... Until they heard somewhat something similar to a Qurogosk, but the tone was deeper. Two adult Qurogosk fought off the Pernirex pack. They had green glowing eyes. For sure those two weren't acting normal. Salrahn was a little confused until he saw a black figure come out of a cave. It was doing those weird roars a Qurogosk does, but with a different tone, that is.
The silhouette got closer and closer. Salrahn could now clearly see what it was. Bright green neon marks, sinister spikes and eight limbs in total. It was Sigmatox. She walked up to the zombie and the doll creatures, and nodded. Probably a way to greet them.
Undoli screeched as she saw the giant black monster.
"DON'T KILL US! PLEASE-"
"Oh my Archalium*, shut up."
"Excuse me, Sal? Can you repeat that?" Undoli growled.
"It seems that he asked for you to quiet down." Sigmatox looked at the screaming creature.
"I didn't think you were saying the truth, Salrahn."
Sigma tilted her head, confused.
"I told you Sigmatoxes exist. They're just almost extinct."
"Yeah, yeah- I don't care. Can we just go home already?" Undoli said.
"Sure. Nice seeing you again, uhm..."
"Sig." The spiky creature was already leaving.
"Yeah. Nice to see you, Sig." He looked awkward.
The two friends walked to the volcano again, happy to have made a new "friend".

*Oh my Archalium**!: Technically, Humans would say "Oh my god", but i thought it'd be better if Sonaria had its own gods and godesses.
**Archalium: In here, Archalium is seen as the goddess of creatures, just like Aereis.
