It was Friday, the last day of school, exactly six days since Cheng and Kiara became acquaintances. Kiara was no longer dreading her first period class with him. They would joke around and talk for the entire period. She was sitting in her fourth period class, when she got a text. She made sure her teacher wasn't looking before responding to the text.

She's bringing food for everyone?

That's crazy
The class ended and she left the room. She walked to the lunch room and dropped her bag outside. She was making her way to her usual table when she was plucked in the middle of her back.
"Ah!" She shouted. She knew exactly who it was by his smell. She turned around and punched Cheng in the shoulder.
"What do you want?" She asked him as he rubbed his shoulder.
"Your lunch" Cheng answered. He quickly snatched her lunch from her. Kiara didn't react. She was too tired and hungry.
"What are we having" Cheng asked as he sat across from Kiara.
"I'm having crab soup and crackers" she said, snatching the bag from him and sitting down.
"That sounds so good" he said.
"It is. Which is why I'm eating it" Kiara said, opening her soup.
"I just want a little bit" Cheng said.
"Go grab a cup" Kiara said. His face lit up and he ran to grab a cup from the lunch line. He came back and held it out. Kiara poured him some and gave him three crackers.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look today?" Cheng said, making Kiara roll her eyes.
"That's all you're getting" Kiara smiled.
"I'll take it" Cheng shrugged as he ate his soup. They sat and waited for everyone else to come to lunch. They were in the middle of talking when Kiara got a text. She saw that it was from an unknown number
