A/N: I had to remake this chapter because I didn't like what I wrote at the time, and I was half asleep when I wrote it a few years ago.

So, this is the ring I plan to propose with tomorrow," Cole said as he showed his sister the ring.

"You're serious about this, aren't you?" Madison asked.

Cole rolled his eyes at her and shrugged. "I don't know."

Madison laughed, and Cole gave her an annoyed look. "Really? You're just going to laugh? Why did I even show you the ring anyway? You're not even dating anyone or married."

"Okay, first of all, that's harsh. And second, I could be in a relationship right now, but you don't need to know that," she replied.

"Look, I want to marry her, and I mean it."

"Cole, look me straight in the face and tell me you want to do that."

Cole mumbled something in Spanish, and Madison chuckled, shaking her head. "You need to stop fooling yourself and just break up with her. It's that simple."

"I love her, and I am not fooling myself."

"Honestly, I don't want to argue about this, but the crazy thing is you're proposing at the age of twenty. That's way too young to get married unless you're deeply in love, which you're not."

Cole thought about whether proposing at such a young age was a good idea, even though he was slowly losing feelings for Maddie but still wanted to be with her.

"I'm planning to propose to her at the beach tomorrow, and nothing is going to change my mind, Mads," he said firmly.

"Okay then, Cole, I won't stop you. But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she said no," she responded.

"She will say yes to the proposal. I know she will."

"Then don't get shocked when she doesn't because in my honest opinion, you two need to find better people to date and love."
