"Here is the contract, once you signed it you are officially signed to CrossKnights." Roger said as he handed Cole the contract.
Cole sighed. "What if I want to back out of it?"
"You can if you want to." Roger said.
"I don't want to and I know this is probably the best decision I ever made." Cole said.
"Then what is stopping you?" Roger asked.
"What do you mean?" Cole questioned.
"What I mean what is stopping you from achieving your goals and also. why do you always add too much pressure on yourself?" Roger questioned.
"I think because of a lot of things that is going on in my life and my dad." Cole said.
"What about your dad?"
"I feel like people would only think I am doing this because of my dad wanted me to and sometimes I feel like I am failing him."
"Cole there will be haters who would think that but you are more different from your father and everybody including me can see that so just ignore those people and also you are not failing him."
"Okay so I guess this is part of my life."
"It always have been part of your life Cole."
Cole chuckled. "Yeah I know."
Cole read the contract slowly and very carefully so he wouldn't miss anything then after he was done reading the contract he signed it.
"Your dad would be proud of you you know." Roger said while shaking Cole's hand.
"Yeah I know." Cole said with a smile.

"So you are signed here?" Blake asked.
"Yeah I am officially." Cole said as he drank his beer.
"Congrats and can I ask you something?" Blake questioned.
"Yeah sure what is it?" Cole questioned.
"I was planning to ask you this a couple weeks ago but I didn't know if you were planning to sign to CrossKnights well I mean it wouldn't matter whatever record label you joined." Blake said.
"You want me to collab with you is that what you were saying?"Cole asked.
"Yeah that what I was asking you about." Blake said while drinking his soda.
"Yeah sure I would like to collab with you one day just let me know." Cole said.
"Yeah I will l- is that your girlfriend talking to that guy over there?" Blake spoke.
Cole clenched his jaw as he turned around seeing Maddie talking to Glen or whatever his name is and the fact that Cole want to go over there and confront her but can't do it because he didn't want to cause a scene knowing what people would say on the internet.
"Yes it is but they are friends so why do I give a shit about them." Cole said.
"You know Cole you sound jealous." Blake said.
Cole rolled his eyes. " I am not jealous alright."

"And she said she was going to hang out with her brother until I saw her talking to that stupid guy who obviously have a crush on her but she doesn't know that." Cole said.
Grandpa sighed and then rolled his eyes. " One I am starting to think you are not my favorite grandchildren because how dumb you are acting right now and two this is coming from the guy that said he is planning to propose to Maddie."
"Okay first of all I am thinking about it and second of all who told you about that?" Cole questioned.
"My niece did and anyway was she talking to him in a flirty way?" Grandpa asked.
"No she didn't because it was all friendly." Cole said.
"You are jealous Cole just admit it." Grandpa said.
Cole scoffed. " I am not jealous okay."
"Cole I know you don't feel the love for her anymore but why the hell are you still dating her?"
"I still love her."
"I don't have the energy to throw things at you right now so stop lying."
"Okay I just can't find a way on how to break up with her alright."
"So you are afraid to break her heart?"
"Yeah I am."
"So what with the idea of proposing to her when you know how toxic your relationship is." Grandpa stated.
"Grandpa I don't know if I see a future with her because I can't imagine it and she keep talking about having a family."Cole said.
"Do you want kids Cole?" Grandpa asked.
"I don't know." Cole said.
"What about with her?" Grandpa questioned.
"No I don't want kids with her." Cole said.
"Next you are going to tell me that you would buy a whole island for her because somehow you still love her."
Cole scoffed. "I am not going to do that and also I don't love her."
"Cole you are the most difficult person ever I am telling you."
"Wow grandpa just wow."
